Summary
17 year old Emily is like any other teenage girl. she loves one certain band that just happened to save her life. she didn't know what was to come of her after she went on an 'adventure' into the city to see if she could meet that band.she had her few days of fun but everything always has an end. after graduation she decides to start her life over in the beautiful one and only San Diego, California. little does she know, the past is going to catch up with her. Will it be a good thing or will things go south?

Emily’s best friend since birth, they both had complete opposite of lives. Aliyah had the perfect family and house. Never had to worry about money, food, or if they’ll even be able to sleep that night. She never had to try to protect her younger brother from anything. But despite how different they are, they have always been inseparable.

She’s gone through many trials in her life and barely made it through most of them, she’s had a past full of drugs, sex, music, and self-harm. She didn’t live in the average household with two brothers and a sister with the perfect parents. Instead she has a drug addict, scramble brained mom, a father who left when she was 10, an annoying sleep around of a little sister, and an older brother trying to protect her from it all. She finally has something good going in her life, but she isn’t sure if it will last. Hopefully she has finally met the man who is going to make her life better.
