Mike’s P.O.V.

Everyone was back at the recording studio. We had finished the drum parts so Vic said I should go see Lily before she went to bed. It was almost eight thirty when I got there. The lady at the front nodded at me and I headed to her room. The lights were off but she had a lamp by her bed on. She was sitting on her bed with her knees to her chest, staring at the wall. I closed the door and walked over. “Got you moose?” I asked. She nodded but didn’t take her eyes off the wall. I tossed my phone on the bed and went to the bathroom. When I came back Lily still hadn’t moved. I climbed onto the bed next to her and down. She looked over. “Could you pass me my phone?” She passed me it then went back to her wall starring. I took my phone, put on some of my music, plugged in my earbuds, and decided to get Lily an app. I went to the app store and picked one that looked cool called Smule. It looked kind of like piano tiles. When it was done downloading I passed my phone to Lily. She looked at it but did nothing. I tried playing first, but after my failed attempt at Mary Had A Little Lamb, Lily still wasn’t interested. After about a half hour of me listening to music and Lily competitively wall starring, she moved. She rested her head on my chest, and was soon out cold. She looked so peaceful; I turned down my music, took off her glasses, set them on the night stand, and settled in to spend the night. I texted Vic to let him know my plans.
M: Hey bro. Spending the night with Lily.
V: Cool. Practice at 6. Concert at 2.
M: See you then.
I snuggled in next to Lily. She snuggled closer. I finally fell asleep with her on top of me.
