WAFFLES!!!!!!!
Lily’s P.O.V.
I woke up to Jaime on the bed. He ran off and grabbed my duffle bag and threw it onto the bed. I stretched out, remembering the events of last night. I rolled over and opened the bag. I searched for something clean and ended up choosing a pair of blue plaid shorts and the same clothes I wore the day before. The shorts showed off the cuts on my legs and I wasn’t in the mood to be harassed about my terrible life choices, so I spread some concealer on them. I looked in the mirror on the back of his door, fixed my hair a bit, took a mental note to lose weight and went downstairs. As I made my way down everything smelled amazing. I stopped mid-stair and took a deep breath. I’d never smelled anything like it. I rushed downstairs and was greeted by the site of Mike and Tony watching cartoons, Vic cooking something amazing while Jaime sat at the bar, talking to him. I walked over to the bar and sat on one of the stools. “What cha’ making?” “Waffles.” Vic said in a weird way. Jaime laughed. I looked across the counter. He had a weird contraption. It had weird grooves and lights on the outside. He put in a weird batter and it came out thick and fluffy with weird square holes everywhere. He put them on a plate with a bunch more and passed me the plate. Jaime grabbed one and ate it. I grabbed one and tasted it. It was amazing! It had bacon AND chocolate chips. Let me just say that anyone can make bacon waffles, anyone can make chocolate chip waffles, but nobody can put the two together and make the perfection that I call waffle heaven as well as Vic. I scarfed it down and grabbed another, and another, and another. By then Mike and Tony had joined us and Vic was making them as fast as we could eat them. He was also eating them and had one dangling out of his mouth as he cooked at all times. We laughed and talked as we ate. After we were done Jaime went upstairs. “Those were soooo good!” “Thanks.” Vic said. “What are those called again?” “You mean waffles?” “Yeah! Waffles. Can we make those a regular thing?” “I don’t know. They’re a lot of work. How about special occasions?” “Okay. Are Mondays special occasions?” we all laughed Jaime came back downstairs slightly confused but with a stern look on his face. “Hey Lily?” I turned around to face him. “Where are your blades?”
