Vic’s P.O.V.

Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Bee….I slapped the alarm clock. Remind me why I set the alarm clock on a weekend. Oh, yeah. Last night while we were driving, we decided to reserve the mall so we could shop in peace. What a great idea Vic. Why thank you Vic. I rolled over and rubbed my eyes. “Why are he so nice to her?” I asked aloud, not expecting an answer. “Because she needs us.” I looked over to see Mike leaning against my door frame with his hands in his pockets. He was wearing a black tank and shorts. He pushed off and disappeared. I changed into a tank and shorts as well, grabbed my phone, and headed downstairs. Tony and Mike were watching cartoons and Jaime was in the kitchen. “What’s the occasion Mr. Master Chef?” He handed me a spatula. “You’re making waffles.” He said like Donkey from Shrek. “Fine hey, where’s Lily at?” I asked. “Still sleeping.” Jaime said. “You want to wake her up?” I asked, looking at the clock. It was nine and we had to be at the mall by ten. “Okay.” He said, bolting up the stairs. I started to make the waffles. “So, what are we watching?”

Jaime’s P.O.V.

I ran up the stairs and opened the door quietly. Lily was sleeping so I snapped another picture. She was hugging one of my pillows to her chest. She was curled up in a ball and her hair was everywhere. Her hair was so long, it almost touched her butt. Today that would change, but I wanted one last longhaired Lily pic. I walked over to my bed and crawled on. I lay next to her, stroking her cheek. “Lily. Hey Lily. It’s time to get up.” I cooed softly. Her eyes fluttered open. She groaned and rubbed them. “See you downstairs in five.” I kissed her forehead and left. I ran to her room, grabbed her duffle bag and clothes, threw them on my bed next to her, closed the door, and then went back downstairs.
