Vic’s P.O.V.

We sat there Tony came back with Monster and sandwiches. About five minutes later Jaime showed up with a stuffed moose in his hands. He put it next to Lily then joined us. We ate in silence. After everyone was done I told them what the nurse had said. We all agreed that later we would start taking turns staying with Lily to lessen the chance she would see us. Just then we heard a blood curdling scream. Everyone looked at Lily as her eyes flew open. “Get down.” Mike whispered. We all slid down and hid behind the chairs. “Well, she’s awake now.” Some kid across the hall let out another scream. “No! No needles!” Lily flopped back down. “Hey Super.” she said quietly. “Fancy meeting you here.” She sighed. “Guess it’s just you and me, again. How long should we give them? Three weeks sound reasonable? Yeah, three weeks, but I won’t talk. Last time I talked they put you and me in that place and I want better for you……What is it with rehab centers and the color white? White makes me want to smear blood all over it. Blue, green, I’d even go for pink! Just not white.” She started ranting, then someone walked in. “Oh! You’re up!” It was the doctor. Lily sighed and did something on the bed that made it creak. “How are you feeling?” Jaime poked his head out and the doctor must have seen him. “Do you have to go to the bathroom? Here. Let’s try.” “No!” Lily screeched. She shot out of the bed and raced down the halls. “Lillian!” he yelled and then it was quiet. Mike popped his head out. “Safe.” he whispered. We all got up and headed out. Something rustled above us. We all looked up and saw nothing. Probably just a rat. With Lily roaming the halls we didn’t want to take the chance of being spotted, so we left our number at the front desk, in case the doctor said we could come back, and we all headed home.
