May These Noises Startle You In Your Sleep

Marie's POV
Ashes had seemed to get along well with Jaime but I'm worrying about the others reaction.
"So Marie why didn't you tell us earlier? How old is she? What happens to her when you're at work or something?" Jaime had said a mile a minuet in breath once he left Ashes in the living room.
"Hold on tiger one question at a time." I said with a dry chuckle but I answer his questions he's already asked. "I didn't think about it until it dawned on me this morning when I had a missed call from my apartment which meant Ash and my mom were at the apartment. She's five years old I had her when I was 19 yeah it might not be the best age to have a kid but I did and we've been fine ever since. And lastly I work and go to collage, so when I'm at school or work my mom takes care of her. I'm getting my degree in Journalism and I have only one month left till I can graduate and I work for a local newspaper on campus." I say to all of them. We're seated at the kitchen table with breakfast in front of us ready to eat. So before it get's cold I called in Ashes.
"Ashes honey come in here." I call out to Ashley.
"If we need to talk about anything else we will after breakfast because me and Ash worked hard to make you food. Right Ashes?" I ask Ashley.
"Yeah we worked really hard so you better like it." Ashes said whilst glaring at all the guys with her little arms crossed on her chest.
"Wow she's just so cute!" Gushed Jaime like he was a girl.
