May These Noises Startle You In Your Sleep

Marie's POV (Still)
So Jaime had woken up Tony and Mike and I can tell that Mike isn't a morning person.
"Good morning guys , I made you all breakfast but I want to show you something before we eat. Okay?" I hadn't really thought of a code word for Ashes to listen for but she's smart and can figure out when I need her to walk in.
"Sure, as long as it's not gross." Chuckled Jaime. Yep him and Ashes are definitely going to get along.
"It's not , it's something I've been hiding from you and I shouldn't soo." I had stretched out the word so because for some reason I'm nervous which I shouldn't be but for once I am.
"Okay here goes nothing, Ashes come out now honey." Okay that wasn't bad but I can tell that there very confused. Especially Jaime , he looked like a lost puppy with his head slightly turned to the side.
But from the little bit of shadows left in the room all you could see was a small figure step from behind the couch and step into the light where you could see my little Ashes with her beautiful sandy blond hair and her bright eyes that went with her little smile.
"Come here Ashes it's okay , they won't bite, well maybe Jaime but he's a big teddy bear." At that moment all you could hear was her little giggle.
She ran up to me and I caught her in my arms.
"So guys this is Ashes , and she's my daughter." I spoke and at the end of my sentence my voice grew small and quiet.

Vic's POV
Wow I don't think anyone was expecting that. But I do think I can remember a little bit more on how I met her, I remember running into her when me and the guys were going to lunch and then we spent the day together but then I don't remember how I ended up into the hospital. But I do know that I need to sit down my head is starting to hurt, great.
"Vic are you okay?" Marie had asked me in a panicked tone.
"Yeah but I feel a headache coming on and I remember how we had met but that's all I can remember for now." I responded in a comforting voice to calm her down.
"Ashes honey go sit down on the couch and I'll be in , in a second." Marie told Ashes.
"Okay mommy , and I hope you feel better." Ashes had faced me to tell me the end of her sentence.
"Thanks sweetheart." I had bent down so I could be eye level with her and she smiled and skipped off into the living room.
"Marie , has anyone told you that you're daughter has your eyes?" I questioned Marie.
"Yes I get that all the time, she even has my natural hair color." Marie had told me as she kept her eyes glued to the floor.

Marie's POV
"Well I think she's adorable! But Marie why didn't you tell us earlier? We aren't going to judge you if that's what you think." Jaime had told me.
"Thanks and I just didn't mean to spring it on you like this and Vic I'm sorry that I had brought her here it's just my mother had called and I completely forgot that today is Sunday." Damn my voice for growing small again.
"Well I'm going to get Vic's medicine ands then we're all going to eat and get to know Ashes?" Mike said in a stern loud voice. As he asked if he said her name right.
"Her real name is Ashley but she goes by Ashes or Ash." I had told Mike with a little smile.
"Okay, Vic take this it'll help with your head, and Marie get Ashes and we're all going to hang out today." Mike said.
"Ashes honey come here." I had called out to Ashley.
"Yes mommy?" Ash spoke in a sweet soft voice.
"How about we eat breakfast and then we go out somewhere?" I had asked Ash.
"Really?!" She said excitedly.
"Yep we're all going to hang out to get to know you , you little cutie." Jaime had chimed in as he got down to her level and gave her his famous bright big smile. Ashes had just blushed and had wrapped her little arms around his neck and he had returned the gesture.
