Runaway

Rachel peered into Pierce the Veil's dressing room. She saw them all ready accept Tony. He still hadn't put his shirt or jeans on. Her eyes went over his torso, his arms, his legs and she started to bite her lip. She knocked the door softly. "Come in!" Vic called. She walked inside slowly, with her hand covering her eyes. Tony laughed at her and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"I hope that's you," Rachel said.
"It is," Tony informed her. "I've got my clothes on now,"
"Okay," Rachel smiled. She took her hand away and saw Tony grinning down at her. She reached up and kissed him softly on the lips.
"That was kind of cute," Tony told her.
"Shut up," she teased.
"You stop, Tony," Mike teased.
"No, you stop, Rach," Jaime added.
"Fuck off," Tony blushed.
"Leave him, guys," Vic warned.
"Thanks," Rachel told him. She kissed Tony on the cheek and pulled away. He frowned but let her go. "Can I talk to you?" she asked Vic.
"Sure," he nodded. Rachel walked over and sat on a couch. Vic sat next to her and looked at her curiously. Rachel saw Tony watching them but Mike and Jaime had gathered around him.
"You know that thing that we talked about?" she questioned.
"The . . . um . . . Little announcement?"
"Yeah," she nodded. "Could you do it tonight?"
"I can. What song?"
"What song is the best?"
"Well, King For A Day gets a cool reaction. But it's not really coupley," Vic explained.
"What songs are?"
"Kissing In Cars is a great one. We wasn't planning on playing it though," Vic muttered.
"Oh, it doesn't matter," she shrugged.
"I wrote it for my friend who wanted to propose to his girlfriend,"
"That's really sweet," she smiled.
"Hey!" Vic called to the others. "Shall we mix it up tonight?"
"What do you mean?" Tony asked.
"I want to play Kissing In Cars,"
"Why?" Mike asked stupidly.
"I just want to," Vic defended.
"We haven't played that in a while," Jaime stated.
"Right. So people would love to hear it,"
"I guess," Mike shrugged.
"Okay," Tony nodded.
"See, easy," Vic smiled at Rachel.
"Thanks," she replied.
When they went up to go on stage Rachel waited at the side. Before Tony ran out she kissed him and wished him luck. He grinned back at her. She watched the show from the side, anxiously waiting. The song before Kissing In Cars started. Rachel hummed along but felt someone tap her on the shoulder. She turned around and saw someone slightly familiar in front of her. "Hi," the woman said.
"Hello. Don't I know you?" Rachel asked.
"We met at a show last week,"
"Megan. Right?" Rachel asked.
"Yeah. Did you mention me to Tony?" she asked quickly.
"I can't remember. Sorry,"
"Tell him Megan says what's up,"
"Just what's up?" Rachel questioned.
"And that I have his new address and thanks for calling me,"
"Okay," she nodded.
"I'll see you later," Megan said. She pulled her into a forced hug. Then she turned away and went out of sight. Rachel frowned but when she heard Vic's voice she smiled.
"We're going to play something we haven't played in a while!" he yelled into the mic. "It's called Kissing In Cars," Vic said and the crowd screamed. "And I'm going to dedicate it to someone," he explained and Rachel eyed Tony. "Her name is Rachel Lancaster and we met her on our way back from a tour. She's really cool and sweet and also Tony's girlfriend!" he called and there was a silence for a few seconds, before the crowd cheered. Tony looked over at Rachel and she smiled warmly. He smiled back widely and waved to her. She waved back and bit down onto her lip. "They're probably blowing each other kisses now or something like that because they do that cute shit. But this ones for them!" Vic finished. They started playing and Vic started to sing. For the entire song Rachel watched Tony's movements, the way his hands moved.
When they had finished Tony ran off stage. He saw Rachel and kissed her urgently. She wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled softly. "Thanks Vic," she told him as he passed.
"Did you organise this?" Tony asked amused.
"I did," she nodded.
"You wanted everyone to know?"
"I wanted everyone to know I'm with you, yes," she agreed.
"You're so cool," Tony breathed against her cheek.
"Thank you," she smiled and he kissed her again.
