Build-up and pacing are what people do when they're not writing pure, unadulterated smut. You know, like, real stories. Not like mine. :D

I've hit the point where my brain just screams, "they belong together!"

The pacing of story is partly agonizing, but this slow burn of like drama and backstory is leading to a nice buildup, I can't wait for more. And maybe some of Chris's dick, lol. Forgive me.

So, yet again, no notification notice was sent that you updated! *shakes her fist* But I was so excited to pop onto the page, login, and see that you had updated. YAY! That made my whole day!

So, I really do love that there is this pre-existing relationship with Chris. Despite him being masked and anonymous to Zoey, clearly it was a somewhat deep(er) relationship that she valued. Which may paint present day Chris in a new light for her in the coming chapters. Hopefully. A little sad that they never had sex, but it's never too late, right? :) And I look forward to learning more about the other guys, as well.

I think we can all agree that the "Angel Eyes" video is super yummy! I don't even really like NYD, but that video is always on repeat in my heart.

I don't know if it was a happy accident or done on purpose, but I noticed the "time to waste" reference in the text and got a little giddy. I'm just going to pat myself on the back, stroke my ego, and assume it was intentional! lol

As for "Can You Fix The Broken?," a year? Wow. I started reading MIW fanfics, mmm, a little under a year ago, I think. But it took me somewhere around 6 months to start commenting actively. At first, I really just wanted to be a reader, but eventually I felt a little guilty that I was lurking and never commenting. Anyhow, I've definitely caught up and love that there's even more to read now.

Glad I can be a rockstar! :D I always wanted to be, but I can't play any instruments for shit, so . . . . Whatever works, right? Feel better and don't worry about updating until you're back on your feet! <3

That makes me glad to hear that you liked that the relationship was pre-existing. Her memory really had to be jogged like you said because in a way she knew Chris and a lot about him - she just didn't piece the name with the face - or the mask in this case. (I'm happy you caught the Angel Eyes reference in there, everything about that music video is fantastic!)

The two things you are curious about will be brought up like you suspected in the upcoming chapters, and everything from Balz' bitchiness to her towards Ricky's intrigue in Zoey will all be explained!

As far as that other story goes (Can you fix the Broken?) got posted over a year ago, so I'm only just now trying to give it CPR and bring it to life!

Yes they do, and thank you, glad you loved the spin on that! Zoey is absolutely a little shy when it comes to having others outside of the dynamic know about her involvement in it. Since she figured at first Chris and the others didn't know her...that's why we saw that shyness! As far as her wanting to become Chris' slave...you'll have to wait and see!

Also! I am quite the fan of this story, and I canNOT help but point out this, Zoey is a secret submissive ad she secretly would LOVE to be Chris's pet slave xD hihi yes yes I imagine the hardcore things in life what can I say .... But amazing update as always!

I don't even know where to begin. Hmm. Well, I like that there is a pre-existing relationship here that, while Zoey's memory had to be jogged, she now knows that she actually does know Chris. And I suspect that they may have done more than just talk. Hypothetical question there, but I look forward to reading more about it in the future. (Oh, and side note . . . I'm sure this was intentional, but any mention of masquerade masks conjurs Chris in the "Angel Eyes" video. Meow!)

I think I'm most curious about two things: 1) Where does everyone else at The Nest fit into Zoey's BDSM background? and 2) What exactly is Chris' background in BDSM pre-Nest? Those will be interesting tidbits to learn in the coming chapters.

I actually didn't realize that you had posted another new story, and that news was very exciting to read! I will have to go check that out now, too. Yay! More reading. :)

I'm glad you're liking the portrayal of both Chris and Ghost so far, all I will say about all of their personalities is that the dominance they have displayed so far will always be present, but they all will show how they exert dominance later on in the book. I'm so glad you liked the twist! In the update I'm about to post, it will answer some of your questions about Chris and Zoey, as you mentioned- I'd most likely give stuff away if I answered them directly.

I think you're totally right about the parallels between Zoey and Bella, and even the third book I just started up again has a character named Mia who shares some of those core values and traits. I enjoy though that while they all have similar traits, they all are definitely separate people based on personal experiences and where they are in their lives. As all of these stories progress, their differences will definitely take a more prominent role.

I can assure you that there will be more creep-tastic moments to come from the boys! Thank you again for always being so supporting and kind in your words! It's very much appreciated :)

In absolute love with this story! God... I love that little Twist of Zoey being into what the guys are!!!

Okay, so. I believe I said this several chapters back, but I love when there are Chris/Ghost-heavy chapters. I feel like Ghost isn’t often put into a “position of power” in fanfics, and I quite enjoy it. I prefer him not being overtly feminine!

As for this chapter’s twist, I really love it. I didn’t see it coming that Chris knew Zoey somehow in the past. The implications that she was involved in the BDSM community in the past . . . Smooth! Great foreshadowing. I suppose my biggest question is (and I realize you can't/should not answer it): Does Zoey truly not remember Chris or is she just playing dumb? Can’t say that I’m exactly sure how any of this would make Zoey worth $3-million, but I’m enjoying the ride and very, very intrigued now.

Also, I just have to say that I feel like there are some very good parallels between Zoey in this story and Bella in your other story. Both are strong, independent-minded women and both seem to have a bit of an issue with admitting their wants and desires. Or maybe it’s just submitting to Chris. :)

Lastly, I kind of loved that Chris (and the guys) have copies of Zoey’s car key. I found that absolutely genius! That definitely made me smile at how creep-tastic it was!

I just received the notification that there is an update and, as I was sitting here avoiding doing anything really productive, I am SO excited to read a new chapter. Or, well, hell, I would be excited no matter what! I wil comment with my crazy theories once I have caught up on my reading. :)

Chris absolutely believes Zoey is special, and it stems from something that is discovered in the update I just posted, and in the next few chapters it will go deeper into why he's so willing to do those things to get her back. As always I'd love to hear your theories, they're always so well thought out and interesting to see just exactly the reader is able to see and interpret!
