Seeing your little story just reminded me of my own awkward moment a while back. My friend and a classmate had been dating, but then they broke up and it was quite bad, but me having my big mouth decided to attempt to whisper to someone, "just so you know, they broke up" and instead the entire table, imcluding the newly exs heard.

Are you going to make me wait 45 days for sex, woman? If so, I might lose my little, pathetic mind! :)

Alright, so onto the serious comments . . .

I like that we learn why Josh is so pissed off with Zoey in this chapter. About halfway through, I was like, “What is his deal?” and then you explained his deal. Which was perfect, except that I question why when Josh used the L-word Zoey didn’t question that or get nervous. Mayhaps what Joshua said will truly sink in down the line, and she will have a delayed reaction. We shall see.

Also, I love that the contract stipulates that Ricky and Ryan will be involved in Zoey’s training, with Ryan being the ominous "Punishment Overseer".

On the humorous side, I loved that Chris was so damned loud that Zoey heard him without seeing him first. I have a kind of funny anecdote for that: At my first MIW show, I was standing on the side of a portable wall divider thingy, and Chris was on the opposite side doing an interview. He was so loud that I knew he was there without ever seeing him, but one of the security guards said to me: “The singer is doing an interview over there.” And I said: “Yes, everyone in town can hear him!” LOL

Oh, and I loved that the chapter title came straight from the text! :)

So, yet again, I read the new chapter last night, but I was just too far gone to comment then. I’m sitting own to re-read it and comment now . . .

But firstly, as always, thank you so much for watching the spacer thingy (lol) and enjoying “Time To Waste”. It’s been a kind of crappy week for self-confidence, so that really makes me smile. *hugs*

Personally? What makes Chris so attractive to me, besides the obvious, is the fact that he is so humble and sweet, and not at all cocky. I find cockiness to be a complete turn-off!

Alright, on that note, time to re-read all about contracts and dominant Christophers . . .

It definitely can be hard, I struggle with that sometimes myself, especially in some of my older stories on the site. Especially the one one-shot story I did, that was literally all sex, haha.

I do that space bar thing with your story "Time To Waste" like a crazy woman! I see it getting to the end and a little piece of my heart breaks.

And as always, you're spot on about Chris. He just doesn't seem the boastful or self absorbed kind of person, just very down to earth and level headed!

Also, as far as waiting for sex, you won't have that for a little bit, but the chapter I just posted holds the gate to let kink come in very very soon! I hope you enjoy :)

Personally? I have a very hard time writing stories without racing into the sex, but as a reader, I appreciate the tension-building. I often think the tension leading up to any sex is better, in some ways, than the actual sex. So I think holding back is a good thing. Of course, if you hold back for too long it can get annoying, but I think the pace here is perfect. You're teasing us into it. :)

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that watches the spacer thing! I sit there panicking like, "No, no, it's almost over! No!"

Not going to argue at all: Chris is quite a scrumptious man. I tend to think that he doesn't believe that he is, and that certainly does not hurt his sexiness. He is quite lovely and inspiring, indeed.

I'm glad that you're liking the fact that they haven't had sex yet, I was afraid that it might just seem odd as opposed to keeping the tension building! I do promise though that somewhere along the line we will see some smut and sex.

I'm guilty of doing the same thing, I watch the spacer thing on the side and with stories like yours when it gets closer to the bottom it's like I cling on and find myself wanting to stretch it out, even when I know I can't, haha.

You would be right again about the next chapter showing Zoey signing on to the contract, but there will also be other goodies going down as well! I could actually see Chris saying something that as well, and I'll be honest that smirk of his is absolutely amazing. It's contagious, tbh.

Okay, so, confession time. I know that I am loving a chapter (or story), when I continually move my eyes to the right side of the screen to see how much more room that little spacer thingy has to scroll downward before I hit the end of the update. I read a few lines, then my eyes check. Read a couple more, check. When I see that I’m nearing the end, I start reading slower. I did that a lot this chapter!

All dorkiness aside, another wonderful chapter. Now we have some background on why Zoey left the dynamic initially, and we’ve cemented the fact that Chris wants her. Possibly even loves her. Which is very sweet and makes his paying $3-million shift more toward super romantic than totally creepy.

I expect the next chapter to be Zoey signing a contract and cementing her terms, but I suppose that might just get explained as you go. We shall see. *rubs her hand together excitedly*

My favorite part was Chris saying: “You get this ‘non-surprisingly beautiful face’ to look at all day every day.” I can actually see him saying that, irl, with a smirk spread across that gorgeous face and his dimples showing.

Loved it!

Well, thank you, my dear. I was really just fucking with Wednesday (@BloodSacrifice), because we do that. Her comment on pacing just demanded a crack about smut. :)

So, yet again, there was no notification from the website that you updated. *grumbles and cusses* I'm actually going to try unsubbing and re-subbing to see if that fixes the issue, we'll see. Oh well.

Despite my joking, I kind of like that Zoey and Chris haven't had sex yet. It builds that tension and anticipation which makes me frantic to read more. Not saying that I would not welcome any and all smut with open arms, because I am a proud pervert, but I do appreciate a well-paced, sexual tension builder.

If the "time to waste" line was merely a happy accident, it's cool, I'll still take it. It made me smile all the same! :)

I'm racing off to read this chapter. It's been a long day of adulting crap and I'm very excited for this!

You're absolutely right about Chris and Zoey's relationship being deeper and more valuable to her, despite not seeing his face. And that will continue to be seen more and more as time goes on.

As far as sex goes, there is a reason they haven't had it yet, and that will probably come out in the next chapter (not the one I just posted, the next one after that, haha)

It's funny that you pointed it out the "time to waste" line. I'll admit that was not done on purpose at all, it just happened, but it was definitely a happy little accident!

Also, I think you are selling your stories way too short, they totally have build-up and pacing! Only one of the many reasons I love reading your books :D

I promise you the pacing will eventually pay off, it's just a little bit of teasing for now. But I can tell you there will be some Chris dick eventually as make up for that, just won't tell you in what context yet! Don't want to spoil anything.
