*** ALICE’S POV ***

Cassie and I were getting ready for Pierce the Veil’s gig. I was sipping on a bottle of Kopparberg whilst Cassie showed me numerous outfits that she’d brought along. I swear she’d brought along half of her wardrobe to my house. I’m just glad I already had everything of mine picked out. All I had to do was my makeup, my hair I was leaving natural with a few little curls added in. Finally Cassie picked an outfit. She’d look really cute actually. Her and Jaime are the cutest couple ever, it makes me so happy! Mike’s been really distant and funny with me recently, but I can’t really do much, we’re not actually ‘going out’ and to be fair it could be nerves for playing their first show as a group. I’m excited for them. I see big things happening for these boys. They’re all very, very talented and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

Cassie and I made our way to the venue and we were pretty pumped up. We got to the bar where we were greeted by a very nervous Vic.

“Vic, honestly dude you’ll do amazing! Give it your all, it’ll be perfect, I can feel it! I’m soooo excited for you guys!” I squealed as I squeezed him into a cuddle. He laughed and thanked me.
I always knew how to calm Vic down, we’ve always been pretty close in that way.

“You better be screaming every lyric ladies!” Jaime said motioning between Cassie and I.

“Of course baby, good luck out there, you’ll be amazing” Cassie said before placing a big sloppy kiss on his lips. I gave him, Tony and Vic another hug before they went backstage. Mike was no-where to be seen. Cassie and I made our way to very front of the stage and as the boys came on we heard people from behind us commenting on how ‘perfect and sexy’ the band members were and how they were going to ‘try get with them after the show’. Cassie and I laughed our asses off, purely because of how weird it sounded to us. They’re not even famous yet and there’s already girls throwing themselves at them. Typical.

“WHAT’S UP SAN DIEGO?!” Vic shouted into the microphone, earning cheers from Cass and I and the fangirls behind us. He smiled right at us and they began into their first song. Cassie and I danced the whole way through their set, hand in hand and singing every lyric at the top of our lungs. The guys finished and made their way back out where they attacked us into a group hug. Everyone stood like that for a good while before Mike went over to a girl and put his arm around her. What the fuck? I probably shouldn’t walk over but I want to know what his fucking deal is.

“Hey Mike.” I said with a grin.

“Oh, hey Alice. This is a girl I’ve been seeing for a little while now, Frenchi – this is Alice.” He smiled at her and then to me.
I felt the colour drain from my face. Are you kidding me? I walk back over to where Cassie is and act like everything’s fine. Although she can obviously tell. She pulled me to the side and gave me a hug.

“Wait what the fuck? Is he with some slut to make you jealous?”

“N-No… He’s been seeing her for a while…” I managed to stutter out. I am in complete shock. Only a week ago he was fucking me and telling me how much he liked me and how beautiful I was to him and now he’s been ‘seeing her for a while’? What?!

“Hey girls, how’d you like it tonight?” Tony came over, putting his hand on my shoulder. I smiled and nodded, letting Cassie ramble on about how good it was. I decided to go out for fresh air and Tony followed me. I slid down the wall of the venue and brought my knees to my chest. I laid my head back against the wall, closing my eyes to stop tears coming through. I can’t really be upset, right? We never said it was ‘exclusive’.

*** TONY’S POV ***

I see Alice make a run for it to get some air. I knew there was something wrong. Usually she would be rambling as much as Cassie but tonight she just kind of smiled and nodded. I followed her outside as she pulled her knees to her chest, trying her hardest not to cry – probably not wanting to ruin anyone’s night. I didn’t care though, she’s still my best friend. I sat down next to her and put my arm on her shoulder. She looked up to me and smiled a little, before her lip started to quiver and a tear slid down her face. I pulled her in for a hug, letting her sob on my chest.

“Hey, hey now. Come on Ally, it’s alright. Please don’t cry pretty lady. You’ll ruin all that pretty make up.” I lifted her face up and looked to see her now giggling.

“Damnit Tony, you always know how to make me laugh.” She giggled a little bit more before wrapping her arms round my torso. I felt calm once again, for the first time in a long time. This is where she belonged, she belongs with me and always will.

“So. Mike’s an ass, huh?”
She laughed, wiping her tears away, “Yeah you got that damn right. I wish I wasn’t such an idiot.” She looked out in front of her, deep in thought.

“You know I ended it with that Stephanie girl.”

“Oh yeah?” she glanced at me quickly then looked down, “Why?”

“She was too over-bearing. She was nothing compared to you, Alice. Honestly. I just couldn’t be with her without comparing every little thing she did to you and I just missed you too much.” I looked down and blushed; I think it’s the adrenaline from the show that’s bringing all of this out.

“Tone I-” she began to speak but I cut her off.

“You’re everything to me. Please, Alice. Come on, be mine again. I need you. I’m so sorry I fucked up, I am. Please believe me, Ally, baby you have to. I-I love you… I’m in love with you.”
