Chapter 18
Flashback~
Tia's pov. 17 years old
It's been 3 years since Kellin and I started dating, his band 'Sleeping with Sirens' has built a huge fanbase since they started playing about 4 years ago in the 8th grade. I met Kellin when I was 12 years old. I met him through my Brother Austin. He was cute. He had green eyes to die for, he had natural blonde hair before he dyed it black, he was just cute.
"Hey I'm Kellin Quinn Bostwick" he said. His voice was so magical it sent shivers down my spine. I had no words.
12 years old~
"I-I'm Carlile Tierra" I said without thinking.
He let out a soft giggle.
"Nice to meet you Carlile" he said shaking my hand.
"Her name is Tierra" Austin said to Kellin.
"I know"
"I'm sorry about my little sister, she's awkward" Austin said.
"Nah, it's fine, she's cute" I blushed really hard up to the point where I was dark red.
"Woah, back up Kellin" Austin said getting between me and him.
"Sorry" Kellin mumbled.
"let's go practice now" Austin said.
"I'll see you later Tierra" Kellin said with a smirk handing me a piece of paper.
He caught up to Austin and went to the basement for band practice.
I opened the paper.

I've been going out with this boy Brandon for 6 months. He's a popular boy. He is on the basketball team. We first started going out when he asked me to the 8th grade dance. Kellin asked me first but, I couldn't turn down the most popular boy it would ruin my reputation. He was my first boyfriend after all.
He was over at my house playing his game boy.
"Tia, I need to talk to you" he said suddenly.
"um ok" I said confused.
"I'm breaking up with you".
my jaw dropped as tears started rolling down my eyes.
"Wh-why?" I managed to ask.
"I only dated you because I felt sorry for you"
"I'm sorry, but I don't like you" he said with tears started to fill his eyes but somehow managing not to let them go.
"I have to leave, I'm sorry" he said before getting up and walking out the door. He broke my heart the day before my birthday.
I cried for hours before my brother came back home from practice with Kellin.
"what's wrong?" Austin asked dropping his bag and coming to my side.
"Brandon broke up with me" I cried
"that bastard, where does he live?" Austin asked.
"just leave him alone" I said into my hands
I got up and ran upstairs. I plopped into my bed and buried my face into the pillow.
"can I come in?" A soft voice asked knocking on the door.
"leave me alone" I said.
But the person obviously didn't listen.
the door creeked open.
"hey" Kellin's voice said.
"what?" I groaned.
"Can we talk?" He asked.
"why not? You're already in my room" I said.
He closed the door and sat on my bed.
I sat up and whiped my tears.
"look Tia, I know you cared about Brandon alot, but you don't need him, you're a beautiful girl, a gorgeous one, but I don't like seeing you hurt" he said lifting my chin up.
"I know, it was my first breakup, but he was a good guy to me"
I said.
"Can I admit something?" He asked. I nodded.
"I've had a crush on you since we met, and I always wanted to tell you, but I was too scared you didn't like me back" he said.
I was in shock.
"I like you too Kellin" I admited also
He looked at me in shock.
I wrapped my arms around him.
We pulled away.
I got lost in his beautiful green eyes as he stared into my ugly natural brown ones.
"Can I do something?" He asked.
"sure"
before I knew it. His lips were on mine. He pulled his away from mine. It was a soft 3 second kiss. My first actual kiss. And his also
"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked
"of course Kellin"
I kissed his soft lips once again.
"ew get a room!" Austin said from my door entrance.
I giggled against Kellin's lips.
I pulled away and threw a pillow at Austin.
I actually have a boyfriend.
17 years old~
I've been recently starving myself and starting to cut again after 2 years when Kellin stopped me. I love him so fucking much. Even if we haven't said it to each other yet.
I was looking through my drawers at my dad's house.
then I saw a paper.
I opened it up.
Full Name- Tierra Skylar Carlile.
Born: January 21st
Time: 3:00 am.
Mother's cause of death:
Heart failure during birth with child.
My facee dropped.
I didn't know I caused my mother's death.
My dad always told me that she died in a car crash after I was born. My brother told me that also.
Why did no one tell me?
"So you finally found the note?" My drunk uncle said.
"I killed her?" I said in disbelief.
"I told her she could've got an abortion before she died, but no, she wanted another child. I told her she was better off just having Austin. I didn't want you as a niece, you're a fucking disappointment to this family and to your mother, and that boy of yours, Kellin, he deserves someone prettier and Better than you, I want you dead" he said.
I got up and ran to Kellin's.
I got in his house and saw Jenna and the others there.
"Kellin, I killed my mom" I cried sitting on the couch with my hands in my face.
"what?" He asked confused.
"Look" I pulled out the paper from my pocket.
he unfolded it and started reading.
"Oh my gosh" he said. The others read it.
"I have to run away! I ruin everyone's lives!" I cried.
"no!" They all begged.
that was the night I ran away. I left my best friends behind, I left my brother behind, and I left my true love behind.
