Carolina's POV
I woke up the next morning remembering I bought the pads with Tony's money.
“Shit!” I said, jumping out of bed.
It seemed Tony and the guys were always getting up earlier than me. I quickly put some jeans and a shirt then went into the kitchen where Tony was, I tried to act natural.
“Oh, hey Tony.” I said.
“Hey.” He said with a smile, he was making himself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
I stood next to him.
“So, you know the thing that's going on?” I asked.
“Thing?” He asked.
I didn't want to make it obvious, but I didn't want to make it weird for him.
“The thing that's going on with me?” I said.
“Oh, yeah! That.” He said.
We were sort of whispering because we didn't want the rest of the guys to hear.
“Well, I sort of had to borrow some of your money to buy my, stuff.” I explained.
“I know.” He said.
He didn't seem mad, but for some reason I was mad that he wasn't.
“I'll be right back!” I said, grabbing his hoodie and leaving the suite.
I left the hotel and started walking towards my house, which wasn't far, it was only about a few blocks from the hotel. When I got to my house, I got up to front door and built up the courage to knock. My mom answered the door.
“Hey.” I said.
“Hey, yourself.” She replied.
I knew this wasn't going to be a good visit.
“I need to get something.” I said.
“So where are you staying?” She asked.
“That's none of your business.” I replied.
“You know there's a tracker on your phone.” She said.
I froze as I was looking for a spare ten dollar bill.
“You've been spending a lot of time in the hotel down the street.” She said.
“You don't know anything.” I replied.
I found ten dollars to pay Tony back with, I don't care if he wanted it or not.
“Have fun drinking yourself into oblivion.” I said to my mom, slamming the door behind me. I started crying because I was so angry at her, and disappointed to have a mom like her. I put the ten dollars in my pocket and started my way back to the hotel, as soon as I got there, I gave Tony the ten dollars.
“What's this?” He asked.
“It's the ten dollars I'm paying you back with.” I replied.
“Oh no, it's fine, really.” He said.
“Tony, I went to my house and had to deal with my mother of all people so will you just please just take the money?” I said.
“Um, sure.” He replied, taking the money from me.
“Thank you.” I said, calming down.
I looked at Tony and he looked at me, and we were connecting, I could feel it. I started to lean in for a kiss, when I heard Vic purposefully cough to interrupt it. Tony and I looked away for a second, but I still smooched his lips for a split second. His cheeks turned a bright red and I was freaking out that I had the guts to do that. I walked away and went into the kitchen to get something to eat.
“The Gold Medal Ribbon is mine.” Vic said.
“Sorry,” I started. “It was too sweet anyways.”
Vic got up and left the room, and I found ingredients to make a salad. After I ate the salad I went to watch some TV with the guys.
“Watch are we watching?” I asked.
“Cheaters.” Mike replied.
“Ohh. Somebody's gonna get busted.” I said.
“Totally.” Jaime said.
After watching some TV Tony and I decided to lay down and talk for a little bit. We were facing each other in bed.
“Sorry I kissed you like that.” I said.
“No, I liked it.” He said.
I smiled and he leaned in to kiss me this time. I think it's official to say we can kiss, and are a couple now. Eventually we fell asleep, holding each other, I turned and woke to see Vic over me, and I gasped.
“Good God, Vic! Do you want to give me a heart attack?” I asked him, whispering so I didn't wake Tony.
“I need to talk to Tony.” He said.
He woke Tony up and brought him outside the door. I heard them talking, but I don't know what they were talking about. Tony came back in.
“I have some bad news.” He said.

Tony's POV
I saw Carolina speed-walking out of the room. I wondered what was going on. I was spreading peanut butter onto a peanut butter and jelly sandwich I was making. She mentioned how she borrowed the money to buy her pads, which I figured out because I was missing ten dollars from my wallet and the next thing you know there are pads in her bag.
“I know.” I said.
I didn't expect anything from her, I knew she didn't have any money to pay me back, and even if she did, I wouldn't want her to pay me back.
“I'll be right back!” She said, in a furious voice, storming out of the suite.
I figured she went to the lobby again to blow off some steam, and I knew I couldn't go down there every time something went wrong. It was getting a little chilly in the room and I needed my hoodie.
“Hey guys, where's my hoodie?” I asked.
“Carolina took it on her way out.” Mike said.
I was confused, and sort of worried at the same time. Why would Carolina take my hoodie out with her? After waiting a good half hour for Carolina, she came back, approaching me with ten dollars in hand.
“What's this?” I asked.
She was paying me back.
“Oh no, it's fine, really.” I said.
“Tony, I went to my house and had to deal with my mother of all people so will you just please just take the money?” She said.
She seemed pretty frustrated and hurt.
“Um, sure.” I replied, taking the money from her, just because she wanted me to.
“Thank you.” She said.
She was already calming down. We looked at each other and connected for a minute. She started to lean in for a kiss, then Vic coughed and ruined it, making Carolina and I look away from each other. I looked back at her and she kissed me for a split second, and I blushed. She walked into the kitchen looking for something to eat.
“The Gold Medal Ribbon is mine.” Vic said.
Carolina was fine with that, saying it was too sweet anyways. Vic got up and went to his room while I went to the front room and put on 'Cheaters'. Mike and Jaime joined me a few minutes later, then Carolina came and sat down with us.
“What are we watching?” She asked.
“Cheaters.” Mike told her.
“Ohh. Somebody's gonna get busted.” She said.
“Totally.” Jaime replied.
After 'Cheaters' was over, Carolina and I decided to lay down and talk for a while. She apologized for kissing me.
“No, I liked it.” I replied.

She smiled, and she was so pretty I had to kiss her. I don't remember what we where talking about, but we ended up falling asleep. After a few hours of a good nap, Vic wakes me up to tell me some bad news, bad news to me at least.
