Today I Saw the Whole World

Today I Saw the Whole World

Carolina's POV
Bad news? What could possibly be bad news? I seriously hope nobody's quitting the band or something like that, that would devastate me.
“What is it?” I asked.
“We have to leave tomorrow.” He replied.
That was pretty devastating too, really devastating, actually. A punch in the gut, stab in the heart kind of feeling.
“Oh.” I started. “Well, I'll miss you.” I said.
“I'll miss you too.” He said.
I started to cry and ran up to hug him. It was the warmest, truest hug I've ever felt. After I hugged him, I went to say goodbye to everyone, even Vic, which was weird.
“I know you're leaving tomorrow, but I feel like we should make the best of our last night together.” I said.
“Like a party?” Mike said.
“No, I don't do parties, I'm a wallflower.” I replied.
I suggested ordering a pizza and watching scary movies, the guys agreed. We ended watching 'Grave Encounters'. I was scared to death, but with Tony beside me, I was less scared, then I remembered, he was leaving tomorrow, I probably shouldn't be watching anything scary. I don't feel safe without him. I got up and went into Tony's room and started to cry silently, that's when I cry my hardest. Tony knocked on the door and walked in as I sniffled, he didn't say anything, he just hugged me again.
“I'll never forget you, and you'll always be the one for me.” He said.
“Ditto.” I said.
We hugged again. When it was nighttime I had a hard time sleeping because of that stupid horror movie.
“Tony?” I said.
“Yeah.” He replied.
“Are you asleep.” I asked.
“Not really.” He replied.
“Can you hold me?” I asked.
He turned around and held me.
“I'm gonna miss this.” I said.
“I'm gonna miss you.” He said.
I started to cry again. Eventually I cried myself to sleep. It was early in the morning when the tour bus came and they had to pack to get ready to go, I was past the stage of crying, now I was more in the stage of suffering in silence. The guys were headed outside and I followed them, thanking them for everything. I gave Tony a final hug and kiss goodbye. The engine started and they got on the bus as I pulled out a razor blade that they didn't know I had in my jean pocket, I touched it to my wrist, and my life flashed before my eyes. Everything good, every possibility, every opportunity, all started by what I was about to do next, I dropped the blade and I started chasing the bus.
“Stop! Wait for me!” I yelled.
Sure I looked like a madman, but it would be worth it in the end. I ran as fast as I could and got a hold of the bumper of the bus and climbed my way up to the roof. Then the bus stopped. Everyone got out.
“Carolina, why are you on the roof?” Vic asked.
“Why are you not on the roof?” I replied.
Tony and the guys laughed, and I got a little giggle out of Vic too. I got help getting down, and asked if I could join and with their manager's permission I could, as long as I didn't interfere with any tours. And I actually got to go with them on their tours, and see the whole world with them. The greatest part was being with Tony afterwards.

Tony's POV
Vic told me we had to leave tomorrow morning, we weren't supposed to leave for two more days. I had to tell Carolina. I knew as soon as I told her she was hurt, and wanted to cry.
“Well, I'll miss you.” She said.
You could tell she was in shock.
“I'll miss you too.” I replied.
She ran up and hugged me, it was one of the best hugs I'd ever had. She went to say goodbye to the rest of the guys, knowing that it was our last night together, she suggested doing something fun.
“Like a party?” Mike said.
She explained how she 'doesn't do parties' and how she's a wallflower. I could relate to this. Instead she suggested ordering pizza and watching a scary movie, I don't know what it is about this girl, but she really likes her scary stuff. In the middle of watching the movie, Carolina got up and went into our room. I was curious to see if she was okay, so I went to check on her, and she was crying. I felt all I could do was hug her.
“I'll never forget you, and you'll always be the one for me.” I said.
“Ditto.” She said.
We hugged again. When it was nighttime I had a hard time sleeping, thinking about how hard it would be leaving Carolina, and if she'd do okay without me.
“Tony?” She said, grabbing my attention.
“Yeah.” I replied.
“Are you asleep.” She asked.
“Not really.” I replied.
“Can you hold me?” She asked.
I turned around and held her.
“I'm gonna miss this.” She said.
“I'm gonna miss you.” I said.
I could tell she started crying as soon as I said that. But I fell asleep holding her, feeling her breathe, and feeling me breathe. We all had to get up early to pack, and Carolina had to get up to say goodbye and return the key to the suite. We went downstairs and Carolina and I hugged and kissed for a final time, then I got onto the bus as the engine turned.
“I'm sorry man.” Jaime said.
“It's fine.” I said.
Then as we're getting onto the road, we hear yelling.
“What's that?” Jaime said.
I looked out the back window of the bus and saw Carolina running for the bus.
“It's Carolina!” I said. “Stop the bus!” I yelled.
I guess the driver didn't hear me, because he didn't stop the bus. We saw Carolina climb on top of the bus, then the driver stopped the bus. We all got out.
“Carolina, why are you on the roof?” Vic asked.
“Why are you not on the roof?” She replied.

We all laughed, even Vic! We helped her down, and asked our manager if she could come along with us and he said sure, as long as she didn't 'interfere with any tours'. When we did tour she came along and she never interfered, she'd stay on the bus with a full supply of food and endless supplies of movies and video games. I loved to see Carolina after a concert.

Notes

This fanfic will be continued in my next story 'Misadventures'. :)
