Slaves To Substance

"Tone. . You didn't have to pay for this motel and pizza. I could have done it. ." I said softly as I nibbled on my cheese pizza. Tony shook his head and swallowed his bit of pizza. In this moment I instantly remember having this moment with Lilith not to long ago.

"It's alright rei. I wanted to. It's cheap but, still. I wanted to." Tony Said sincerely as he sipped some of his water.

I chuckled softly, "you sound so much like Lilith." I sighed with a tiny chuckle and set the crust to my pizza down as I got up from my seat across from him at the small wooden dining table and laid on the twin bed that was next to the air conditioner. Tony had gotten us a little motel room with two twin sized beds and a balcony. It was nice. There had only been three cars in the parking lot. Not many people were here tonight.

"Is that a bad thing..?" Tony asked slowly as a small smile crept on his face. I let out a small chuckle.

"No. Not at all." I reply and rest my chin on my palm as I looked at him. Tony smiled and set down his pizza and threw all of the trash out. He sighs and sat on the edge of my bed, kicking off his vans and then turned to face me. We sat in silence just enjoying each others company.

"How about we get breakfast tomorrow morning?" Tony suddenly suggested, poking my bare shoulder. I had taken off my studded army jacket a while ago to enjoy the nice AC. I shrugged a little and smiled warmly.

"That sounds good. But you have to let me pay tony. It'll be a thank you thing for paying for pizza and this room." I said and rolled onto my back and tugged lightly on his padawn braid.

Tony smiled and looked down, licking his lips slowly. I caught myself staring intently at his sudden action and blushed, quickly looking away.

"No I wanna pay. You're my girlfriend. I want to treat you to these nice things." Tony protested and brushed some hair out of my face and ran his hand down my cheek. I breathed in slowly and went even my red at the way he claimed me as his 'girlfriend' so smoothly.

My eyes flickered back over to Tony who was looking at me with such sentiment that It made my heart beat faster then it was really supposed to. I didn't know what this feeling was but, I don't think I want to be rescued from it.

Tony leaned over me a bit and kissed my lips softly and I kissed back, shivering at the intense spark that left a prickle all over. He pulled away slowly and blushed as I looked up at him with shy, passionate brown eyes. We sat in silence again, not really knowing what to say to each other.

"You're lips leave a nice feeling." I blurted unexpectedly, it came out so quickly I actually gasped and covered my mouth, my face getting heated all over again. Tony stared at me for a second and smiled slightly.

"So do yours Reira." He mutters and leaned down, kissing my jawline lightly. I shuddered a little, feeling that spark again.

Soon enough, tone and I ended up laying next to each other, fast asleep. The lights were dimmed and and the moonlight shimmered through the sliding door by my bed. It was now two in the morning.

I slowly let out a small sigh and started drifting of to Tony's calm slow breathing.

But suddenly our peaceful sleep was interrupted by a loud BOOM that practically shook the whole hotel. I shot right up as soon as the lights flickered and went out as Loud screams filled the air.
