I Promise You, Someday

*Max's POV*

As we were driving to the nearest mall I remembered that my birthday was in a couple of weeks, I mean it's not that I hated my birthday I just didn't really like celebrating being older than I was a day before, it's stupid? I was soon pulled out of my thoughts when Tony announced we were here, as we were parking I saw how many cars there were and suddenly my anxiety went sky high and Tony must have noticed because he reached over and grabbed a hold of my hand, "You'll be fine" he said, giving me a reassuring smile, I smiled back nodded my head as I pulled my sunglasses over my eyes and jumped out, as we were walking through the mall I could feel myself getting disapproving glances from everyone, Tony said I was paranoid but I don't think I was, suddenly I stopped and it was as if I had an epiphany, "What is it?" Tony asked worried, I turned to him and smiled, "I know what to get her!" I said, he looked at me confused but I couldn't be bothered explaining so I just dragged him into the closest pet shop, "A pet!?" He asked I just nodded, smiling, "Okay.. What kind of pet?" He asked, I looked around wondering what to get her until my eyes finally set on an enclosure, I raced over with Tony in tow and stopped at the hamster enclosure, I knelt down and looked at the two remaining hamsters, "Okay, what one do you want?" He asked, I studied them both and saw that the bottom one was standing on it's back legs looking and smiling at me, "This one!" I said pointing to it, he nodded and called a guy over, "Hi, how can I help?" He asked, "Umm I'd like a hamster please?" Tony said, the man nodded and asked me what one I wanted, I pointed to the one I had just briefly chosen, he nodded and grabbed a small cage, picking the hamster I had chosen and putting it in there with some straw, "Aww Tone!" I cried, he looked at me, "Now this one is alone and sad?" I said kneeling down and making a pouty face at him, he shook his head, "No one is enough" he said, I started to make puppy dog eyes at him and he finally caved, "Eughh fine, and that one too please" he said to the man, rolling his eyes, I jumped up in excitement and ran towards him, "Thank you!" I said, hugging him and wrapping my legs and arms around his body, "Yeah yeah" he said, I just laughed a little before jumping down, "I love you!" I said, leaning up and kissing him, "I love you too" he said before grabbing my hand and rushing us to the checkout, "Is that all?" The cashier asked as we put the hamsters, hay, food, food bowls, treats, house and toys up on the conveyor belt, I thought for a minute, "Well..." I said, before I was cut off by Tony, "Yes!" He said quickly, I just laughed a little, as we finished paying we grabbed a Subway and headed out to the car, I stared at the hamsters as we got in the car, "Oh shit, Tony, I'll be one minute, I left my phone in the Pet Shop!?" I lied, jumping out and running back into the pet store, "Back again!?" The man who helped us before laughed, I just nodded smiling and running over to the hamster aisle, I grabbed a couple of extra things and ran down to the checkout, "You're Max Crooks!?" The young cashier said, I smiled and nodded, "You were in here earlier with Tony, weren't you?" She asked, I nodded again, "Yeah we're buying hamsters fro my daughters birthday" I laughed paying and taking a quick selfie as well as giving her a quick autograph and running back to the car.

I opened the back door and pushed the boxes in, as I climbed in the front Tony just looked at me, "What did you buy!?" He asked, I giggled a little, "Just a couple of hamster balls and maybe a... small....castle thing?" I said, he laughed and shook his head, "You're such a child!" He said, I just shrugged my shoulders, "I know" I said happily, as we were driving back I got a call from Mike, "MIKEY!!" I picked up, "Hey, umm did you get Alexis' presents?" He asked, I looked at Tony, "Yeah and then some!" He said, I rolled my eyes, "Yeah, why?" I asked, "What did you get her?" He asked sheepishly, I knew where this was going, "2 hamsters and a couple of things as well as some clothes, whyyy?" I asked, waiting for him to ask what she wants, "Oh no reason, umm she wouldn't have by any chance happened to tell what she wants?" He asked, there it is! Tony looked at me and shook his head in shock, every year, "Y'know you really need to get better at this Uncle thing Mikey, but no she didn't if I were you I'd just get her a couple of toys and some clothes, she needs clothes more than anything?" I said, laughing at him, I could feel him nodding, "Right cool, thanks, much love, bye!" He said hanging up, I shook my head in disbelief, "Just wait until she grows up and all she wants is money, that'll be the easiest thing for Mike!" Tony said, I nodded as we pulled into his old house, "Lemme get the rest of my clothes and then we'll go around to the new house" he said, I nodded, getting out with him, "Where are we going to hide these hamsters?" I asked Tony as he opened the front door, "I would say my mom but she has Winter?" He said packing an extra suitcase, "How about Danielle?" He asked, I nodded, "That could work?" I said shrugging, "I'll be in the car" I said giving him a quick kiss and pulling my phone out, "Hello?" Danielle answered, "Hey Dani!!" I shouted, "YO MAX!" She replied, I laughed a little, "I need a favor?" I asked her, I could feel her nod for me to go on, "I have Alexis' birthday present here but I have no where to hide it coul..." I said but was cut off, "Yeah absolutely!" She said, I smiled, "Thanks babes, means millions, I'll bring it around later, okay?" I said, "Yeah okay, bye sugar love you" she said before hanging up, as I was sitting in the car singing along to Dollhouse by Melanie Martinez, Tony came out hauling a hugely packed suitcase behind him, I saw he was struggling and all I could do was laugh and pop the trunk for him, he climbed in the front sweating, "Thanks for your help babe" he said, rolling his eyes, I just laughed.

By the time we got to the new house there was a moving van that was fully loaded and Mike, Vic, Jaime, Kellin, Katelynne and a couple of randoms were sitting on the front step, sweating and drinking cold beers, "Bit early to start isn't it?" I asked laughing, sitting on Mike's knee and stealing his beer, "Where the fuck were you two an hour and a half ago? HEY!" Mike said, I just laughed taking a swig of his beer, "Well even if I was here I would not be doing any lifting, not with these nails" I said winking and taking another swig, he shook his head and rolled his eyes, trying to steal his beer back, "What did you get her anyway?" He asked, I tapped his nose, "It's a surprise" I said, he nodded slowly until Vic got up and ran to the car, "No!" I yelled trying to get up and stop him but Mike pulled me back down by the waist, "Vic wait!!" I said, laughing as Mike was tickling me, by this point Tony had went inside to see Zach, suddenly Vic screamed loudly like a girl, "What is it!?" Mike and Jaime asked, as Vic came running back holding his chest, "HAMSTERS?" He asked loudly, I nodded, thankfully Alexis was at pre-school with Copeland, "What! TONY!" Jaime shouted, Tony came running to the door with Zach, "Yeah?" He asked, "What the fuck possessed you to let Max get Alex hamsters?" He asked, Tony just shrugged, "My princess, my rules?" He said, smirking, I jumped off Mike's knee and ran into his arms, making a funny face at Jaime, they all just laughed and shook their head in disbelief, "Hey guys, I have an announcement" Tony said as we all grouped into the sitting room, we were all drinking beers at this point and I was obviously sitting on his knee also Danielle and Tay had arrived too, "I want Vic to be my best man" he said, I looked at him and smiled, "And I want Katelynne to be my Maid of Honor" I said, we both looked at them as I watched Katelynne's face light up, "I'd love to!" Vic said, where as Katelynne just nodded ecstatically we both jumped up and started screaming hugging and jumping, "Oh Tay and Danielle, will you be one of my bridesmaids?" I asked, she smiled and nodded, we've been getting on well lately, "Great now all I need to do is see if Copeland and Alexis are up for it?" I shrugged, "And I want Mike, Jaime, Oli and Kellin to be my grooms man?" Tony said, Mike and Jaime agreed, I ran over to Tony and kissed him, smiling into the kiss but we were pulled apart by Zach, "What about me?" He said, hurt obviously that I had forgotten about him, I laughed, "I haven't forgotten about you, I want you to give me away?" I asked, his eyes suddenly lit up as he nodded, "Yes!" He said, nearly crying, I smiled and hugged him tightly, "Thank you!" He said, I just shrugged, "No, thank you!" I said, squeezing him and letting go, "Umm guys when is the wedding?" Vic asked, I looked at Tony, "You'll invites will be out with in the next 3-4 days but here is a hint, it's an Autumn wedding" I said sitting back down on Tony's knee, everyone nodded and Vic proposed a toast, "To the soon-to-be husband and wife!" He said holding up his beer, everyone cheered and drank, I looked at Tony and smiled, "I love you" I said kissing him, "I love you too" he said as we pulled away, smiling at each other.
