I Promise You, Someday

*Max's POV*
*3 Weeks Later (10:30am)*

I jumped awake to see Tony lying on the floor, I immediately started to laugh, "What the fuck were you doing?" I asked as he pushed himself up off the floor, "Oh y'know, working out?" He lied, I looked at him and he sighed, "I tripped over my foot" he said, sheepishly, I giggled a little, "Aww baby" I said, holding my arms out as he came and cuddled into me, after about 10 minutes of cuddling I broke the comfortable silence, "Umm Tone?" I said, "Hmm?" He said, half asleep, "As much as I'd love to stay and cuddle with you all day, I have an appointment" I said, kissing his head and pushing him off me, "What? Where? You hate the dentist and the doctors?" He asked confused, I just rolled my eyes, "Wedding dress?" I said, he gasped a little, "Can I come?" He asked, I laughed at him as I got up and grabbed some clothes, "Please, I hate not knowing things!?" He said, I shook my head, "No, I've been nice enough to let you plan the whole wedding without me, apart from the make up and dresses because you're terrible at that, plus, it's bad luck if you see the bride's dress before the wedding or some shit like that?" I shrugged, he sighed, "Fineee!" He said, standing up and walking over to me as I done my make up, "Want me to straighten your hair?" He asked, I nodded, since we've been together he's been a pro at hair, after 10 minutes of hair and make up, I was finally ready, "Who are you going with anyway?" He asked laying back down on the bed, "Danielle, Tay and Alexis, Tay is picking up Danielle and then me, since Alexis stayed there last night she's just gonna bring her?" I said shrugging, he nodded, I walked over to him and lay on top of him, "I'm gonna miss you" I said kissing him, "I'm gonna miss you too, baby" he said, kissing me again, I sighed and then smiled into the kiss as his hands started to roam from my back to my butt, ever since we've got engaged we've been inseparable, everywhere I've went Tony's been, I just can't express how much I love him, he's like a drug to me, I was soon pulled out of my thoughts and make out sesh with Tony when my phone started to ring and vibrate, "Hello?" I answered as I was wiping the smudged lipstick off Tony's lips and he was wiping mine, "Hey Max, we're outside, we got you a Starbucks too, black tea yeah?" Tay said, "I nodded, "Yeah that's cool, I'll be out in 2" I said before hanging up and slapping Tony's chest, "What was that for?" He asked as I stood up and he followed me, "For mimicking me" I said as I walked down the stairs, I heard him giggle like a child behind me and just rolled my eyes, "Okay, you've got everything, you're purse, you're phone?" He asked as we stood at the door, I nodded, "Okay and you're positive that your appointment is for today?" He asked, again looking at me, I nodded, "Yes dad!" I laughed before hugging and kissing him, "Save the 'daddy's' for later" he said winking and smacking my bum as I walked away, "Fuck you!" I said, when I got in the car we all waved him goodbye and, headed for the dress shop, "Thanks so much for coming guys" I said as we jumped out and walked in, "No problem babes!" Danielle said wrapping her arm around my neck.

"Hi welcome to White Flower Bridal Boutique, how can I help?" The lovely receptionist asked, "Umm I'm here for a consultation?" I asked she nodded and typed on her computer, "And your name?" She asked, "Uh Crooks, Max Crooks" I said, she nodded and smiled, "Okay looks like you have Rachael, go straight down this hall and take your first left and then another right" she said pointing out the directions, I nodded and started walking with the girls in tow, we finally entered a medium side suite room beautifully decorated with pink and white lilies and carnations, there was a women dressed in casual clothes at a desk on a computer, shed suddenly stopped typing and turned around she was really pretty, "Hi!" She said smiling and standing up, "I'm Rachael, I'm your consultant today, you must be Max?" She asked, I smiled nodding and shaking her extended hand, "And this must be your beautiful entourage?" She asked, I smiled and nodded introducing them one by one, "This is my maid of honor, Danielle, my bridesmaid, Taylor and my daughter and flower girl, Alexis" I said pointing to each of them as she shook each of their hands, "I do have another flower girl and bridesmaid but she is busy with a photo shoot today so we're going to come back tomorrow to get the bridesmaid dresses" I said, she nodded smiling, "Let's get started then, if you guys could take a seat have some champagne and fruit, we'll be back with the first dress in two ticks" Rachael said pointing to the couch and champagne and fruit laid out on the table next to it as she ushered me through to a small changing room, "Okay so in your phone call you said your preferences were mermaid, lace, sleeves and a button back?" She asked me I nodded, "But I am willing to try anything you think would be good?" I said shrugging she smiled, "What's your budget?" She asked, I thought for a minute, "I am happy to go anywhere between $2,000 and $5,000?" I said, her eyes lit up, "Perfect!" She clapped pulling out the first dress. After an hour and a half, lots of fruit, 4 glasses of champagne and 7 wedding dresses, I was starting to lose hope, "I don't think I'm going to find the perfect dress?" I said as I was standing outside with Danielle finishing a cigarette, "You will, you'll see" she said, drinking a water, I nodded, "I thought Tony didn't like it when you smoked?" She asked, throwing her cup in the trash as I butted out my cigarette, "What he doesn't know won't hurt him?" I shrugged, "Plus I'm under a lot of stress right now?" I said laughing a little as we went back inside, "Okay, I know you wanted sleeves but I think I have found it?" She said, I nodded and walked back through to the changing room, I covered my eyes because I wanted it to be a surprise so I could at least look forward to something, even if it is disappointment, "Okay, are you ready?" Rachael asked as she guided me out, I nodded, I heard a lot of gasps as she positioned me in front of a mirror, "Okay, open your eyes" Rachael said and I did as I was told.

I couldn't believe it was me in front of the mirror, "I love it!" I cried, literally, the tears were rolling down my face, "What do you guys think?" I asked turning around, everyone nodded, "YOU ARE GORGEOUS MOMMY!!" Alexis shouted, I laughed a little as there were 'Awww's' all around, Alex came running up to me and hugged my legs, "Thanks sweetie" I said wrapping my arm around her before she ran back to her seat, "Okay and the beauty of this is the prices, it's only $2,500, you could get it for $2,570 if you want to throw in these shoes?" Rachael asked presenting beautiful heels, I nodded holding my hand over my mouth, "Yes, it's a deal!" I said as I ran over and hugged her, "Thank you so much!" I said as I pulled away, "Hey, it's my job and one of the reasons I love it is to see someone like you so happy and satisfied" she said smiling and leading me back to get changed. After getting changed into my clothes and paying we were on our way home again, my phone started ringing as we stopped in at a small cafe, it was Tony, "Hello?" I answered, "Hi Max, are you okay?" He asked rushing, I laughed a little as I dug into my salad, "Oh thank god, it's just I phoned you about 10 time sin the last 2 hours but you didn't pick up, I started to worry?" He said, I rolled my eyes at Danielle who was giggling a little, I mean I wouldn't change him for the world but he is really panicky, "It's fine babe, I was still in my appointment, I found a dress and they threw in some shoes so it was a deal?" I said, smiling, I heard him laugh a little, "Yeah, you're a sucker for them, look I'm just going to go out with the guys to get our tuxes, if you need anything just call okay?" He said, I nodded smiling, "Okay, bye, I love you" I said as Danielle and Alexis made kissy faces at me, "I love you too, baby" he said before hanging up, "He's so sweet" Taylor said when I put my phone down, "yeah, he is" I said looking at my engagement ring, "The way he acts and looks at you it's like he's ready to take a bullet for you?" Danielle said, "Is that a bad thing?" I asked, worried a little now, "No but it's an intense thing, he must really love you?" She said, I nodded, "I hope so?" I laughed, "He's marrying me in 3 months?" I said they all laughed as we finished our food and payed, now all I need to do is hide the dress somewhere Tony and the others won't find it?
