Counting The Stars and Scars

*Max's POV*

Mike and I were standing outside,"Smoke?" He asked, I shook my head, "Jaime doesn't like when I smoke" I said, pushing his hand away, "Jaime doesn't like when you self harm either, but that didn't stop you?" He said calmly, lighting his cigarette, I suddenly froze, looking at him and then staring at the ground, "What are you talking about?" I panicked, he just sighed taking a long drag, "I used the toilet in your house when we were cleaning up there was a broken razor in the shower and blood drops on the floor, I'm not stupid Max, I can piece things together" he said, taking another long drag, I grabbed the cigarette out of his mouth and started smoking it, "Look, Jaime doesn't know and you can't tell him, I only relapsed because of the argument, please don't say anything" I looked at him, pleading with tears in my eyes, he sighed again and nodded his head, "Fine!" he said holding his hands up, I finished up my cigarette and went back inside with Mike, I sat down next to Mike and near Jaime because he was sitting at the end of the table, I kissed his head and sat down, "Have you been smoking?" He whispered, I shook my head no,he didn't believe, he turned his eyes to Mike and it honestly looked like he was going to lunge for him. After dinner I was helping Mrs Fuentes do the dishes, "So you and Jaime are quite close aren't you?" I laughed a little, "Well yeah we are a thing?" I said, "No I know dear, I mean you two are inseparable, he is always near and you can barely be two minutes without each other. He looks like he's getting ready to take a bullet for you" she said, I looked at her, "Is that a bad thing?" I asked, she laughed a little, "Well it's an intense thing" she said, I blushed a little I guess it is kind of like that.

After sitting watching movies for a while, we decided to leave and go home, "Winter!!" I called and all you could hear was the scraping of paws on the laminate flooring, "We're not keeping that dog, we don't even know if it has any diseases or what?" He said, raising his eyebrows as I picked the puppy up, "Actually I took her to the vet and she is very healthy" Vivian said I just smiled at Jaime and started walking out of the house and to the car after saying my goodbyes, I was standing next tot the car, "Please can we keep her?" I said giving him the puppy eyes, he sighed "Fine, okay!" He said finally giving in, I squealed and ran over kissing him and jumed in the car, waiting on Vic to get in, "You have been smoking!" He said, getting a little angry, I kept my eyes on the floor, "I'm going to kill him!" he said as he got Vic to stop reversing the car and opened his door, I grabbed his arm, "Don't" I said, he closed his door again and was quite the whole ride home. When we got out and in the house he turned to me, "Why did you lie?" He asked, hurt, "I didn't want to upset you" I mumbled, starting to cry, he just nodded his head, coming an giving me a hug and kiss, "It's okay, just tell me the truth the next time, okay?" he asked, I nodded into his chest, "Come on lets go get a shower" I nodded and we were half way up the stairs when I stopped, causing him to turn around, "What is it?" He asked, how do I tell him I can't go in the shower because I self harmed when we fell out, "I don't feel well, I'm going to lie down, you can go for one if you want?" I said, holding my stomach to make it a bit more realistic, he nodded as we went our seperate ways, I got changed into my pyjamas and lay in bed, flicking through my feeds, Jaime came back through in a towel around his waist, I have to admit, he is one sexy Mexican, while he was getting his boxers on he turned around and looked at me raising his eyebrows, I hid my face under the covers.

After 10 minutes of lying in bed Jaime was asleep and I couldn't get to sleep, so I grabbed my laptop and went on to youtube, plugging my headphones in and watching a funny video of when the boys were in tour, god I can't believe I missed the Selfish Machines tour because I was ill, that really sucked but I skyped and called the boys almost every night but it wasn't the same, when the video finished I lay back down and just stared at him, I really love him but I feel like something bad is going to happen, I fuck up every relationship I've been in, so what's so different about this one? As I was staring at him in thought I was soon brought out of it, "BOO!!" He screamed at me, I jumped back and hit my head off the wall, "Oh my god, I am so sorry!" he said, sitting up and moving over to me, I was laughing so hard I could barely breathe, once I calmed down I had the hiccups, "How lo-lng have you been a-awake for?" I asked, "Since about half way through that, 'Funny Moments- Jaime Preciado' video" he said still giggling at the fact he made me hit my head off the wall, I just nodded, we lay back down and I was cuddling into Jaime's chest, "Himes?" I asked him, "Yes?" he said, I was a bit hesitant to ask him but I did, "Do you love me?" I asked, he sat me up so I was looking at him, "Of course, very much, why?" He asked, looking at me concerned, "No reason, I love you too" I said, pecking hs lips and falling asleep in his arms.
