I was awake all night kinda by choice. Michael, came in and tried to get me to come chill with the guys but I decided to sleep... I've got plans for tonight.

It was 11:00pm when I woke up, I tip-toed around the house to see if everyone was asleep and surprisingly they were.

I filled a back pack with some snacks, sodas, a flashlight, a can of spray paint, a crowbar, and a first-aid kit mainly because I'm one of those people and I'd like to have it just in case.

I creep'd out the front door and I made sure I was in all black. I lived in my own little world and in my world kids like me owned the night, it was the time for us to come out and play. Oh how I love the stars and the moon, I just feel safe under them and covered by darkness.

I took a look around to make sure no one saw me then I took off running down the street with a smile on my face. Don't get me wrong I wasn't breaking laws or stuff I just do it for the rush.

That heart pounding moment were you never think of anything else you're just in that moment not knowing what will happen next, that's the feeling I come alive for it's the one moment I don't feel completely empty, something still feels sad and missing but just less sad.

I ran until I came across what was obviously an abandon shoe factory so I pulled out my crow bar and started hitting the already cracked windows while screaming ''Woo-Hoo." I don't know why but that's the point. Don't think, just do.

Once that was done I ran again and this time I ran for about 2 hours, I was barley breathing but I loved it.

I wasn't by the houses or buildings anymore, I was by some fields so I looked up and saw a beautiful hill. The moon light hit it perfectly while the stars sparkled in the black and blue sky so I walked up it...unable to run.

I was on the top and decided to throw my head back while holding my arms out on either side of me and began laughing while smiling, this is my moment so I looked at the sky and put my hands in the air seeing if I could touch just a fraction of it beauty it's so -" What are you doing." A familiar voice creep'd up behind me.

I loud out a loud gasp and turned nearly tripping but the person caught me.

"Wow, calm down I didn't mean to scare you.'' Then I realized it was Vic.

"No it's okay ummm what are you doing here?"
"I could ask the same thing."
"True but I asked first."
"Fair enough, I'm celebrating the way the night hides scars.'' he let out a small chuckle. "No I just love the night sky and this is the best place to see it." He exclaimed while looking into the distant sky then turned to me to say"Now what about you? Why are you so far from home at 3am."
I smiled."The sky, I brought snacks and sodas if you want to share."
his smile beamed. "Hell yeah!"

We sat and chatted about pointless things while eating then laid next to each other while watching the sky in a content silence.
"The moon is almost gone and soon we'll see the sun." he said while turning to me.
"Yeah I should head back''I started to stand up.
"Wait, don't you want to watch the sunrise with me?" He had a hopeful look in his eyes.
"Sorry it's a long run back and I have one more thing to do." I started to walk away.
"WAIT!" Vic, yelled while jogging over to me."I drove here if you want I can take you to do what you need to do then home."
I thought for a second. Soon the blissful moon will be gone and my time will be over so I don't have time to waist.
''Okay, let's go."
He smiled then lead me to his car, he opened the door for me. "After you M'lady." God he's corny he got in and I directed him to the abandon park.
"What are we doing here it's so ugly and run down.'' He had a look of utter confusion .
I smiled develishly."This place is so beautiful.'' I said with so much feeling.
I pulled out my can of spray paint.
"Come on I'll show you." I got out of the car he followed in toe.
I waked until we got to a concrete wall that divided the park from the world, on it was spray paint, chalk, sharpie, anything you could use to write or draw with. One area in particular interested me most, everyone wrote down what they wanted out of life and it was amazing.
"See." I had a huge smile on my face.
''Wow, this is amazing." He lowly said while tracing his fingers over the writing.
"Exactly, now back up." I pulled out my can as he backed away then began my work.

When I was done he had a look of shock on his face.
"Freedom without fear, what's that mean?'' he was puzzled.
"That's my secret."

I was laying in my bed playing the events over in my head until I fell asleep.
