Jaime’s P.O.V.

After we got back from our amazing dinner, everyone was stuffed. We make it back to the hospital safely and brought Lily back to her room. I carried her over to the bed and tucked her in before joining the rest of the guys in the chair circle.
“Well that was fun.” Tony said.
“I think we should take Lily off her meds.” Mike said. Wow. Short and to the point.
“I agree.” I said at the same time as Tony. We both looked at each other and nodded in approval.
“I don’t know.” Vic said. “Let’s ask the doctor first.”
“Ask me what?” He took a seat in the free armchair.
“Pros and cons of Lily being off meds.” Vic said.
“For how long?”
“For forever.”
“Okay, pros.... she is happier much easier, she talks, she remembers. Cons. All her memories are being saved in her short term memory, if she ever does start her meds again, all those memories are lost, she’s more nervous, she needs to be constantly moving, she doesn’t remember anything she learned before while she was on meds, and she never will.”
“So she won’t remember today?” I asked in despair.
“Oh, she may. There is a very large chance that most of today will be remembered. If she takes them now all of today will be pushed to her long term.” Tony hoy up, woke her up, and made her take her meds. “Good.” The doctor said. “Now, don't forget to add in that you left the premises without permission in your daily medical summery. Now onto more happy news. If Lily remembers today tomorrow, come find me.” He gave us a happy smile and we remembered why we had gone shopping today, what that outfit was really for, and why we had planned today. Lily was coming with us tomorrow, even if we have to sneak her out.
