The Last Punch

The week following us getting home was quickly proceeded by Alex popping the question to Mel and Adrien demanding a wedding with Mel and I.
Tony's first thought was that this was chaos waiting to happen, between Mel's upscale taste, my crappy planning skills, and just Adrien's Adrien-ness.
Tony had put his house quickly on the market to move into the apartment with Ghostie and I. Word of us got out and the fans freaked. Some thought it was temporary and others were still holding strong to team Taxel. And for the first time since Kel and Lian died, I've felt like I was actually part of a family of my own. I had Tony and Ghostie, my perfect little family.

"Are we gonna do it?" Tony asked as we were settled into the couch. Resting my legs on his lap, I took a sip of my tea and shrugged.
"The wedding?" I questioned, knowing exactly what he meant..
"Yes Axl--The wedding." He said looking into my eyes. Adrien had wanted us to plan a nice summer wedding- outdoors, lots of people, catering, the whole shebang. I took another long sip of tea, avoiding his perfect brown eyes.
"I'm just nervous Tone. Like what if we're just rushing into it?" I stuttered, putting the mug up to my face again.
"Axl. You said this is what you wanted.." He said looking into my eyes. I gave in and looked at him.
"It is Tone! I love you, I don't want anyone else or anything else. I mean what if you have to go on Warped this summer, we wouldn't have time."
"We aren't going on Warped. They haven't asked us yet." Tony retorted. "Why are you arguing about the wedding? You can tell me!"
"Well... I guess I just don't want it to be a big deal. It's just a celebration of love. There's no need to have tons of flowers, food, and birds! Adrien wants to have doves. But what if they poop..." I trailed off and Tony chuckled at me.
"Silly, we don't need a big wedding! I just want to be married to you. We could have the service in Vegas and I wouldn't give 2 shits, as long as I'm with you!" He patted my shins and I smiled. Holding up the mug to hide my blushing cheeks.
"You're a nerd Tone... I love you." I snickered and looked over at him. His brown eyes settled on me and a smile crossed his lips.
"I love you too Axl." He scooted over and kissed me. I was in love and not ashamed to embrace it.
Ghostie slowly looked around a corner and Tone made noises to bring him closer. Soon Ghost was on our laps, purring from our undying affection.
