The Last Punch

As we walked up the stairs I didn't hear a sound.
"The guys must be out still." I said to Mel.
"Probably.." She agreed as we made it to the living room. We didn't see anyone and Mel laughed. "Our tickets have us leaving on Friday. And today is Wednesday." She sighed and plopped herself onto the couch.
"I'm gonna grab my laptop from my room." I pushed open the door and saw a note sitting on the bed. I threw my purse on the bed and went over to the note. As I picked it up I recognised Tony's handwriting.
[...] Axl. I went out with the guys and we won't be home until later. We have to go shopping and... yeah. Love you, Tone
I smiled and proceeded to get my laptop; leaving the note on the dresser. "Tony left the cutest note for me!"
"Did it say where they were going?" Mel said lifting up her head and looking at me over her shoulder. I sat down next to her and she crawled to a sitting up position.
"They were going 'shopping and yeah'." I laughed and opened up my laptop. "Do you want to stay for 2 more days or leave asap?" I asked typing in my password.
"I guess we can wait. It's not like we're made of money... Wait but if we do a shoot here doesn't that count as the Europe tour thing?" She looked at me and I shrugged. "Like couldn't we just get.. wait never mind, cause Shep and Adrien paid for these tickets. Wanna go get ice cream?" Mel said looking up to me. She had a fluttering concentration and couldn't focus on too many things at one moment. I giggled and nodded my head. I shut my laptop and got up off of the couch. I threw my computer on the couch and Mel got up.
"Let's go get some vegan ice cream!" I smiled walking to my room to grab my purse. There was a vegan place that even Mel likes to go to. She giggled and we headed out of the door for the 2nd time today.
"I wonder when the boys will be home?" She asked as we headed down the street to the café. A soon 10 minutes later we were walking into the café. Maggy from the nursery was there getting lunch.
"Hey ladies!" She smiled widely grabbing her wrap and a cookie. Mel and I smiled and nodded.
"What can I get for you ladies?!" The man at the counter asked. He must be new... I've never seen him here before.
"Uh yeah can we see your manager?" Mel asked rather bluntly. He sighed and headed for the back. We soon saw Rottie walk out and their face lit up. They ran over to us and we got pulled into their arms. You may wonder why I'm saying they and their. Rottie is one singular person. But they don't identify as male or female. Rottie is amazingly amazing to say the least, they make monthly donations to suicide prevention and compensation for families going through loss, they also donate to help pay for sex change surgery.
"Cookie dough, and... blackberry?" Rottie said pointing to either of us. We laughed and Rottie told the man behind the counter, named Maxx, to get what she had confirmed with us.
I couldn't wait to have the best vegan ice cream in the UK.
