I Introduce The Selfish Machine

I pulled my blanket up, covering my bare chest. I took a deep breath, finally actually getting some air in my lungs.
"Oh. My. God." I said, starting at my fan which spun round and round.
"I know." Tony sighed next to me. He rolled over on his side so that he was facing me, extended his arms and pulled me closer to him. At first, I thought he was going to roll back on top of me, but then he just laid there...holding me.
I sat up. "Whoa, whatchu doing there, Tony?"
"Cuddling with you? What, you never cuddle after sex?"
"I'm not around long enough after it's done to actually cuddle."
"Oh, right. You're not into this kind of stuff." Tony said, sitting up. I watched him start to grab his clothes up off the ground.
"Wait, what are you doing?" I asked.
He didn't even pause to answer me, just kept getting dressed. "I'm going to head out."
"What, why?"
"Because I have band practice in an hour and you're not even interested in me anyway, so I think it's best that I leave." He said
He started walking towards the door, but I stood up (with the covers still wrapped around me) and grabbed his arm. I turned him back around to face me.
"Dude, what the hell, I never said I wasn't interested. I am in interested!"
"Oh, yeah. Okay. Sorry, Piper, but I'm actually looking for a real relationship, not just a friend with benefits. I'm sorry, but I rather leave now than have my heart destroyed later." He opened the door quickly, and slammed the door shut just as fast.
I stood there, staring at the door, wondering why he exploded on me so quickly. I would have given us a chance...maybe. I don't know, but that was a jerk move. Well, at least it was actually done before I felt the thing too much. It doesn't hurt. It just kind of stings.
