TONY'S POV

I drove as quickly as I could away from that stupid studio. Every freaking time I like a girl, this happens to me. I should have never went over there. It's not like she even cares anyway, just another girl wanting sex from a band member.
I pulled up to Vic's house and walked into the basement, still pissed off about what had happened. We had just put out a new album called Selfish Machines, and were doing pretty well as a band. We're getting ready for a hometown show, which I was going to invite Piper too, but looks like that idea went to hell pretty quick.
I got downstairs and felt the guys staring at me as I picked up my guitar. I began to tune when I heard Mike from behind me.
"Tony got laid." Mike said.
I stopped tuning and turned to face him. "What? No I didn't." I said.
"Then why is your shirt on backwards?" He asked.
I sighed, and Vic laughed. "Looks like Tony's now a lady's man. How was it dude?" Vic said.
"I don't want to talk about it."
"He just doesn't want to brag, come on Tony, tell us."
I looked up at Vic. "I. Don't. Want. To. Talk. About. It."
Vic finally got the hint to drop it. "Well, alright. We're going to run through The Sky Under the Sea, so, let's just get this started."
We started playing the song, but I couldn't focus on anything other than the words to the song and how much I really did like Piper. You'll never be as beautiful without me. Hell, I liked her. I liked her a lot. She was gorgeous, and I can't get the taste of her off my lips. She didn't want me, and that hurts. I've never believed in love at first sight until I saw her. I wanted her, but she doesn't want me. Did you call me last night just cause you couldn't get laid? Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce the selfish machine. That's it. She's the machine, and that's all she'll ever be. The selfish machine.
