I Introduce The Selfish Machine

I was woken up at 8 in the freaking morning by my phone vibration.
"I didn't set my alarm for a reason." I complained as I rolled across the bed to grab my phone. A number I didn't know was calling me.
My heart dropped. Tony?
It probably wasn't freaking Tony. Leanna got married a week ago, and I still haven't got a call from Tony. This is why I don't talk to guys, they always avoid me after they meet me. I guess they just can't handle the sass.
"No, I don't want anything you're selling." I said. That's how I answer phone calls from numbers I don't know, because honestly, I don't care if I don't know you're number.
"Well, I was wondering if this was Piper Lynn's number but by that sassy remark, I know it is." A deep voice said over the phone.
Piper Lynn? "Tony?" I asked, trying not to get my hopes up.
"Hey." He said.
I smiled and sat up in the bed. "Hey, Tony. What's up?"
"Oh, nothing. Just decided I'd give a pretty girl a call."
Is this...flirting? "Well, I don't know why you called me then."
He laughed. "Oh, shut up. Hey do you wanna like, hang out, today, or right now, maybe?"
I ran my hands through my hair. "Yeah sure. Just come on over. I'll make coffee or something." I said.
"Okay, text me your address and I'll be over in about 15 minutes?" He asked.
"Sounds good." I replied.
"See ya soon, Piper Lynn."
I smiled. "You too, Tony."
I hung up the phone and laid back down on my bed, smiling. What is this feeling? I'm not sure if I'm a fan of it.
As I was lying there pondering at the thought of actually liking the guy, it hit me. My small studio was a freaking mess.
"Way to go, Piper, always on top of your game." I mumbled to myself as I started picking up all I can before Tony got here.
