Alexis’ POV

“Alrighty guys, let’s do this.” Mike said grabbing my hand and practically dragging me to the first ride. In my opinion, it was awesome. Honestly all the rides were, even the little kiddy ride that Tony picked as a joke, but the one Jaime picked was my favorite by far. It was the swings that went up realllllyyyy high. Mike and Tony rode together, and I chose Jaime because Vic looked like he was going to throw up by just looking at the ride. To be fair, it was kind of an asshole thing but listen I did not want to get covered in throw up if it happened.

“Jaime why did you pick this ride?” I asked as we began to ascend.

“You’ll see.” He smiled.

From behind us I could hear the whines of Vic, “Uhm guys I don’t know if this was a good idea. “ He said as he held on tight to the chains and looked down. “Is it too late to get off?”

“Calm down Vic. Just breathe okay. You’ll be okay. And remember if you have to throw up lean on your left side and try to hit Tony and Mike.” I giggled.

“HEY I HEARD THAT. VIC YOU BETTER NOT” Tony yelled from behind Vic.

Soon we were at the top of the ride and swinging around. It was clear why Jaime liked this ride so much.

“Wow. You can see the whole park from here. It looks great.” I smiled while looking all around.

“Yup it’s even better during the Christmas season.”

“Really?”

“Yeah all the lights playing to music fake snow flying everywhere, only bad thing is it gets a bit chilly.” He chuckled. “Maybe we can come again in -.”

The sweet moment was soon ruined as I heard Vic throwing up behind us.

“EW VIC” I said turning around. Sadly he didn't hit Tony and Mike. He had one job.

“Damn I feel bad for whoever is on the ground.” Jaime said making me laugh.


We decided to change our game plan a bit considering Vic just vommed everywhere, and visit one haunted house before going home to have a small fire and drink. I wasn’t disappointed because that just meant that Mike and I could come back another time and hit up the rides we missed, this time without the lames.

“Why did I agree to this?” Tony said looking a bit nervous as we stood in line.

“Because I’m your favorite twin sister and you love me.” I smirked

“Are you scared Tony?” Jaime joked.

“You’re one to talk Jaime, last time we went through a haunted house you screamed like a little girl and were holding on to me like your life depended on it.” Mike teased.

“That was supposed to stay between us.” Jaime said putting a hand to his chest as if his heart had just broke.

“Next!” The person in charge yelled.

“Yay! Lets get spooked bitches!” I exclaimed grabbing Mike’s arm as we led our group.

“To be honest, that one was kind of lame.” I sighed as we walked inside of Tony’s and I’s house.

“Yeah, the only thing that scared me was Jaime running into us.” Mike agreed.

“It was dark! I couldn’t see where we were going!” Jaime said in defense.

“Vic’s episode on the swings scared me the most honestly.” Tony added.

“Can we stop bringing that up?” Vic sighed, but not without letting out a laugh.

“Maybe,” I laughed, I’m going to go change, you guys can go ahead and get the fire pit ready and everything.”



Jaime’s POV


“Today was great.” Lexi sighed as she flopped down in one of the chairs around the fire.

“Definitely was one for the books.” Vic agreed as he passed out beers.

“Let’s all take a picture!!” Lexi exclaimed.

“We’ve taken soooo many tonight though.” Mike whined which earned him a glare not just from Lexi but also Tony. Which was understandable. Lexi was getting more confident with every day that passed, maybe every hour, and as her protective brother Tony didn’t want anyone to bring her down even if was just the smallest thing.

“If looks could kill…” He muttered before pulling out his phone and taking a few pictures.

“S'mores anyone?” I asked while holding up a package of marshmallows

“Oooouuu yes please!” Lexi exclaimed.

Yep, you could really see a difference, especially in her smile and the way she carried herself. Compared to when she first showed back up, you could easily tell she was getting better, she was happier, and she was home.

“Hey Jaime take a picture quick!!” She yelled as her marshmallow was on fire. She made a crazy face, and I couldn’t help but laugh.

The night was like one out of a movie, with stories and laughs being shared around the small fire. I’m pretty sure we all have 6 packs from laughing so hard. Well one can dream, right?
