My phone began to ring vigorously on the bedside next to me. I rolled into my back swatting the area for the phone. I finally got my hands around it picking it up to see who could possibly be bothering me at this time. Vic's contact picture popped up, I smiled pressing the green and putting the phone against my ear. "yes Vic, how I may be of help to you?" I questioned into the receiver.
I heard Vic chuckle, "nice to hear your voice again to em, I was calling to ask if your coming to the cookout tonight at our place."
Thats right the boys were planning on having a get together before they took off for their world tour with sleeping with sirens. I stayed silent on the line actually contemplating it not sure if going was very smart, he would be there and so would she.
"mikes bringing Dawn I think you should come to mom and pops miss you em." Vic stressed.
"Well I'll only go for my daughter and your parents."
"geeze nice to know I'm missed." Vic said laughing.
"oh you know what I mean fuentes, so should I go around six." I questioned. Vic agreed before ending the call, I checked the time 4:55. Seeing as I had a bit of time I decided to clean up a bit.

I grabbed my blue sunflower dress from my closet along with my beige pumps. I grabbed a towel from the shelf and headed into the bathroom. I turned the water on lukewarm undressing myself before stepping in. I let the water cascade down my body before shampooing and washing both my hair and body. I turned the water off grabbing the towel off the rack. I stepped out drying my body before putting on my clothing of choice. I dried the mirror of the moisture caused by the heat before beginning to apply my makeup. I went for the usual cat eye red lip kind of application. I left my hair for last choosing to leave it straight. I checked my phone seeing as I had 30 minutes before six it was time to take off. I turned off the restroom light grabbing my purse and phone off the night stand. I closed the door heading out to the kitchen and grabbing my keys off the table before heading out the door. I climbed in my car starting it off and beginning my trip to the fuentes resident.

I parked my car behind the multiple others that had piled up on the curb. When these boys have a cook out they go all out and when I say they go all out I mean they go all out. I cut my engine off, stepping out of the car locking it behind me. I walked up the pathway hearing the loud laughter and even louder music playing through. I knocked on the door loudly enough to be heard if anyone was inside, the door was pulled open by a smiling Tony.
"em you finally made it, late as usual may I say." He said sending me a wink.
"shut up and give me a hug perry." I said pulling him In for a hug. Tony put his arm around my shoulder leading me into the house. Jaime, Vic and their parents were gathered around the kitchen counter laughing and clinking their drinks.
"look who just got here." Tony yelled getting their attention. In the next second I was bombarded with hugs and questions left and right of how bad I been and what I had been up to. It was cut short when he walked in. Of course he was hooked around his arm and Dawn holding his hand in the other.
" Momma momma!"Dawn yelled running from her fathers grip and running into mine. I kneeled lifting her, her tiny arms wrapped tightly around my neck as she began to place sloppy kisses on my cheek. I passed her around to the others as well as her grandparents. After we all said hi, Vic yelled "let the party began." And oh was it about to began.
