Red.

I was perched on a seat on the patio looking over at all the guests that had come to see the boys off. I was currently swishing around the beer in hand not feeling the need for one at the moment. I continued to look around at the various groups. You had the parents dawn included, the boys, the girls, and the couples. The pierce the veil boys were standing around talking to Adam E. and the other members of sleeping with sirens. Each man or at least my Mexicans had there arms wrapped around a pretty lady. All there arms were exceptionally wrapped around their girls shoulders while mikes found it's spot on her ass. I rolled my eyes this surely was going to be a long night. I put my beer to my lips letting the bitter tasting brown liquid cascade down my throat, I wasn't much of a drinker. I decided it was time to stop hiding and go converse even if it was with just the parents. I walked down the patio stairs making my way to momma and papa fuentes who were still cooing over dawn.

"Emma sweetheart you have quite the daughter, I swear she looks like mijo but is just like you." Papa fuentes told me rubbing my arm. I smiled, "thank you pa, I won't lie every time I see her I only see Mike but what can you do?"I said shrugging.
He laughed patting my shoulder, "he will soon come to his sense Mina he will realize soon enough what good he has in front of him."
I gave papa Fuentes a hug sending him the biggest smile I could muster.
I grabbed dawn hoisting her onto my hip, turning as we heard the clink of glasses.
Vic had his cup raised in hand, " I just want to thank all our family and friends for coming out here today to celebrate one last night with us before tour, I can't thank you all enough for the support and opportunity you guys have given us, I want to make this night one for the books and I hope you all can do that for us here here." Vic said lifting his glass to his lips and throwing his head back. Everyone followed suite even little dawn with her Capri-sun. I chuckled kissing her forehead. The rest of the night continued on, the parents eventually left saying they were not as young as they used to be and needed their sleep. Dawn apparently although young as could be was feeling tired by 9:30. Seeing as all the chaos was outside I took my tuckered out daughter in my arms taking her inside to find a vacant room to lie her in. I found mikes old room, the one we had shared many intimate memories in. I fluffed the pillows and threw back the blankets placing the little angel between the sheets. I tucked her in placing a chaste kiss on her head. I turned off the lights wishing her a "goodnight" before slightly closing the door behind me.

I backed from from the door only to be met with a body hitting my back. I turned around to be met with a very tipsy Mike. He sent me a smirk, " well look who decided to live a little ay em." He said swaying slightly. I rolled my eyes, "look who decided to get drunk, your daughter is asleep in there so please keep it down and don't forget her she is yours till Sunday may I remind you." I said pointing back at the door. Mike rolled his eyes placing his finger to my lips, " you really think I would forget my daughter, the one thing that reminds me of you." He whispered leaning in. I stumbled back, leaning the closest I could to the wall, "your drunk Mike just go." I said pushing at his shoulders.
"come on em, let me show you how much I missed you, let me drive you crazy one more time, let me make love to you, let me take your breathe away." He whispered, his breather fanning out against my neck. Goosebumps arose running up and down my body. I shivered and it was then that Mike knew he had won, he knew my body more than I knew it myself. Mike placed his lips roughly against mine hoisting me up by my legs. My thighs automatically wrapped around his waist as he lead me into the dark room. It's funny how things happen, one minute Mike and I are at each other's throats the next were lying in a dark secluded room sharing intimate moments. I knew what I was doing was wrong, his girlfriend was out there with the rest drinking and laughing at memories they had made, while I had Mike in bed caressing and taking in every inch of my body. I had longed for a moment like this in so long that I didn't care what consequence came with it. So as he trusted into me and moaned my name nothing or nobody else mattered just us. When he whispered "I love you em." As we both climaxed moans combining into the darken room. Nothing truly mattered.

All moments die though, nothing blissful will ever stay long enough for you to fully enjoy. So when he sat up and started tossing on his clothes, I was confused to say the least. Mike must of caught on when I sat up slowly blanket wrapped around my body. "You should get dressed and get going wouldn't want anyone to expect anything." He said tossing me my dress. I scoffed, " really Mike is that all I get from you?" I questioned. He turned to me slightly swaying, " it was just a fuck em, nothing more he said reaching for the door. I looked over at Mike, "but you said you loved.."
"I was drunk em, I didn't mean what I said." He replied cutting me off. Mike pulled open the door before shutting it behind him as he walked out.
"drunken words speak sober thoughts Mike." I whispered into the dark room as a lonesome tear found its way down my cheek. I through on the rest of my clothes before walking out of the room and out of the fuentes residence. I placed the keys in the ignition staring the car. The ride home was the shortest and for that I was thankful. I put the key into the lock before making my em way inside. I locked it behind me, truding to my room and laying across the bed. I pulled the sheets around me as the tears began to fall.
