We spent a few more hours at the park dawn's consistency truly showing through. Everytime we would find a reason to leave she found an even better reason to say, the better reason right now was the merry go round.
"faster dadde faster I wan go faster!" Dawn yelled tiny hands holding on for dear life to the poles. I chuckled as Mike sped up the tiniest bit dawn screaming louder.
"wai no dadde slow down slow down!"
We all chuckled as Mike pulled the merry go round to a stop a very dizzy dawn stepping off. Dawn swayed side to side hands out walking towards me.
"uh-oh somebody's dizzy." I spoke holding my daughter steady.
"that was so mush fun momma." I nodded lifting my daughter, placing a kiss to her head.
"what do you say we head home and order some pizza and enjoy a movie?" Mike questioned turning to us. Dawn raised her hand in excitement
"yas!"

"momma can I pease has anuter slice of Pisa." Dawn asked holding her plate out to me.
"as long as you promise that this is your last one and you promise to sit and watch the movie with daddy." Dawn nodded eagerly lifting the plate up to me. I placed a slice on her plate as she skipped to the living room just as Mike was coming in.
"you know she was lying about something?"
I smiled at him, "what?" I questioned. Mike chuckled leaning against my shoulder, he leant down whispering into my ear, "she had her fingers crossed behind her back, we have a pretty sneaky daughter."
I chuckled rolling my eyes, "Anything for pizza." I placed a slice for me and Mike grabbing us drinks as we went to join our daughter on the couch. We watched a bit of starwars and some of Harry potter, anything to make these two happy. Dawn was laid across both our laps, she had been repeating the words of her favorite lines animatedly. A smile on mine and mikes face ever so present. We were on the second Harry potter film when the talking stopped and tiny snores filled the room. I looked down, dawn fast asleep mouth slightly open, I nudged Mike. He turned to me, as I pointed down to our laps, a smile crossed his features.
"She's beautiful you know, we really got lucky." I looked down nodding, "Its true we really did get lucky."
Mike wrapped his arm around me squeezing me to him, "let's go put her to bed." I nodded letting him get up first, he lifted dawn cradling her to him carefully walking to her bedroom.
I turned on dawns nightlight and pulled back her sheets as Mike laid her down. Dawn opened her eyes slightly gripping her fathers hand
"dadde can you pease stay pease dadde." Dawn mumbled sleepily.
mike opened and closed his mouth looking to me. I nodded my head, "just let your fiancé now." I replied not meeting his eyes. Mike nodded as I turned exiting the room. I I entered my room closing it behind me leaning against my door.
" what am I doing I whispered."

I laid down next to dawn as she cuddled up to me my mind drifting to em,
