The Reason

Well shit.

"JUST A SECOND!" I called out. Crap, if he finds out then I'm in the shit for sure.
"What are you doing in there?" he asks.
"I'm just changing into pajamas!" I say, having to really change so that he'll believe me. I hide my box of razors and put on my bracelets and open the door.
He looks at me with a weird expression and says,
"Were you crying, darling?"
"Huh? OH! N-no! I was just washing my face and I got soap in my eye!" I lie, softly laughing.
"Oh, okay. I have to go to the studio and drop off a few documents and then afterwards I have to go see your mom about something... Will you be okay here alone until about 7 or 8? If not I can drop you off at grandma and grandpa's." he said.
"I'll be fine here. I have to study anyway..."
"Okay. In case I don't answer my phone and you need something, you can call Mike, Okay?"
"Okay."
He kissed my forhead and left five minutes later after grabbing what he needed.

That was close. Too close. I decide to grab a snack and go back upstairs to study for a social sciences test I have friday. I finish after about an hour. It's only 4:30... I decide to walk Char so I change into some blue shorts and a black tank top. I put a blue bow in my hair while I'm changing. I hardly ever make my hair fancy. I usually just keep it in my 'emo/scene' form... But it would be cool to have some blue or red in it...

I decide to walk to a diferent park because of what happened last time. I walk into the middle of town where there's a small circular park surounded by schools and stores. A bit more livelier than the one closer to my house. I spend about 40 minutes walking Char and then decide to go home. As I was walking down the street, I hear laughing. It's those two girls from earlier today...oh no...

I start to walk faster hoping that the won't notice me. No such luck.

"Hey Sarah! Look! It's the emo cutter!" The brunette laughs.

"EWWWW! You can see all her fat oozing out of those shorts! Gross!" The blonde one screams.

"Maybe she should lose a few pounds!'

"Ha! More than a few!"

I finally get inside my house and sit against the front door. The name calling didn't stop...

'Are you as cheap as a whore as your mom?'
'I hope your dad gets drunk as fuck and beats the shit out of you!'
'Go cut a vein you little emo bitch!'

After that comment they went back inside. I got up and went to my room. I'm not gonna let them get to me. I'm not going to cut again today. I decide to just do art and read a few comic books until dad came home.

Hours and hours passed and now it was 9... dad's an hour late.. I began to worry.. so I called his phone. No answer. I called again. Still no answer. I decide to wait a bit longer... soon it was 10 P.M.... he's still not home... Char began to bark so I let him outside to do his business. While I'm waiting for him to finish, I'm still freaking out. What If something happened!? What if he's in danger?! I called him again and still no answer. He's probably fine. Maybe he's just really busy... I decide to take my mind off it and read. And soon enough it was 11.... That's it. I called uncle Mike and told him what happened and how dad is hours late. He said that he would take care of it and that I should get some rest. I tell him goodnight and go to bed.

~~Later that night~~
I wake up to the sound of a door slamming and yelling. What the....
I look over to my nightstand and look at the time. 2:46 a.m..... I put on my glasses and slightly crack the door open and look outside. It's dad and uncle Mike...

"Maldito idiota! ¿Qué demonios estabas pensando?!"
"Shhhh buddy shhhhh...."
"No Vic! What the hell was that!? You can't live your life like you want to anymore! You have a daughter! A daughter who was worried sick while her idiot father was out drinking and about to have a one night stand with his ex wife!"
