The Reason

Should I tell him? Will he overreact? Oh god.. I don't know what to do.. Screw it. I'm going to tell him. I can't keep this a secret anymore. I need help from someone, anyone.

"Well.. I'm having troubles..."

"Troubles with what?"

For whatever reason, when I looked up at him, I broke down crying. I told him everything. Cutting, hating myself because I wasn't good enough for my mom, Sarah, Anna, the bullying at school, worrying about copeland..

He hugged me tightly and said, "Sweetie, why didn't you tell anyone?"

"If I told my dad, he would call the school, the school would get anna and sarah in trouble and then they'd just beat me up more.. so would the other kids.. and I can't just bring anyone into this, I can't push all my problems on someone." I answered, wiping away my tears.

"Hell, I probably shouldn't have pushed my problems on to you! I'm sorry Alex.."

"Hey now, don't feel that way, I'm glad you told me. It isn't healthy to keep things like this in." He said. "I want to help you. I don't want you hurting over things that other people do, It isn't right."

"I don't know what to do anymore.. I don't want people worrying about me.. it makes me feel selfish."

"You aren't being selfish! Everyone needs help here and there Kitzie. A person can only be so strong for so long."

We talked for a while and lost track of time. He made me promise that I would tell him whenever I was feeling down and he promised to help me. We also agreed that when the time is right, we would tell my dad.
