I pulled on white shorts and a Pierce the Veil t-shirt over my bathing suit. I was really excited for tonight. Not only will Jack, Oli, Tony, Jaime, and Mike be at the bonfire, but so will Vic's cousin Amelia. I really like her, and honestly I haven't had a close female friend since Chey. I looked at myself in the mirror. Completely satisfied, I walked into the living room, where Vic and Oli were waiting for me.

"God do girls always have to take so long?" Oli groaned.

"Do guys always have to take no time to get ready?" I shot back. He rolled his eyes.

"Whatever." Oli grunted.

"Are you two done?" Vic asked.

"Yes." Oli and I said in unison.

"We are here!" Vic said pulling up to a near-deserted beach. The only other company it looked like we would have are a male and a female, both of which are just silhouettes by the blazing fire. I noticed many other figures in cars in the parking lot. The parking lot was full, but as it seemed no one dared to get out of their cars. I wonder why.

"Vic, why is nobody out of their cars?" I asked. Vic held a finger to his lips, then pointed at the clock on his radio. 7:59:50. "Vic?" I asked. 7:59:51.

Oli tapped Vic. 7:59:52. "Dude." Oli tried to get Vic to respond. 7:59:53.

"Seriously Vic," 7:59:54. "What is happening?" 7:59:55. I glanced around at all the other cars. 7:59:56. Everyone was staring at their clock, hands ready to open their doors. 7:59:57. "Oli, get ready." I told him, not know what would happen. 7:59:58. I looked back at Vic, who's hand was on the handle of his door. 7:59:59. I waited for the clock to change to 8:00, assuming that everyone else was going to jump out of the car at 8:00. 8:00:00. Car doors flew open, and everyone leaped from their cars, quickly shutting their doors behind them. People yelled, making no words, but cheering for the bonfire must be beginning. We sprinted to the beach, to the fire, attempting to stay up as we were slammed into. We must of looked like a pack of wild animals, zoning in on their prey, in this case the fire. Once we were past the cars, we spread out, and slowed down. We all stopped around the fire, making a perfect circle. I'm not exactly sure why this happened, but it was fun, being crazy and chaotic. The noises and cheering stopped, and the male, who's silhouette I saw earlier started strumming a guitar. I recognized the cords to this classic, it was my mom's favorite. We all started singing Stand By Me.

Everybody cheered at the end. The female got up, and everyone got silent. "Remember my friends, when you are going through whatever your troubles may be at this time, that you left them in your cars, and will return to them when tonight ends. For now you are here, and your problems are there. We are here to stand by you, and let your troubles free and have fun for once!" She yelled. Vic slung his arm around my shoulders.

"Ready to have fun?" He asked me.

"You know it Vic." I turned my head and kissed him, passionately.

Two updates, makes up for not updating yesterday. I got really creative with this chapter, I doubt this is actually how bonfires go, but it was just a fun chapter to write. Sooo umm yeah.
