The Forgotten Fuentes

I Do

*3 months later, Vic's POV*

About two months ago I finally got to where I could walk on my own again and I was seriously grateful for that. I was tired of having to have someone help me when I was going to the bathroom or taking a shower. I'm still a little nervous about driving, but I'm getting better. We released our first album finally, and it's huge! Sales are going through the roof! Also, one more thing; today is mine and Alli's wedding day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alli was currently having her dress refitted (since she'd picked out the dress before she knew she was pregnant, it had to be a bit bigger. Nothing major.) and her make-up and hair done, and I was getting my suit ironed out. Everything for the ceremony was already set up in the outdoor chapel.

"Vic!" exclaimed my little brother from the doorway. "What?" I asked, chuckling a bit. "What are you doing in your underwear?! The wedding's in two hours!" he exclaimed. He was as bad as the women! "I know when the wedding is! I'm the one that booked the chapel!" I replied. After a couple of weeks, Alli, Lilly, and I had forgiven him for blaming me and he's been a lot nicer. I guess we must've taught him a lesson or something.

After I finished ironing the tux, I pulled it on slowly so that I wouldn't re-wrinkle it. The chapel was back in San Diego, so I had to get going soon. I adjusted the tie and made sure that Mike had the rings, then we left for San Diego.

When we arrived at the chapel, I was rushed inside so that I wouldn't see Alli in her dress. Apparently that's bad luck. Who knew?

A while later, the ceremony finally started and I took my place at the end of the aisle. To my surprise, Kellin showed up with his girlfriend, Katelynne. I looked out over the rows of people on Alli's side, and then over the three rows of people that I'd made friends with from the recording studio on my side. Austin and his band were there,Hayley and her band were there, and a british group called Bring Me The Horizon whom I had met a while back were seated in the front row. Gerard, one of my groomsmen, smiled and gave me a small thumbs up from his place beside me.

THe organ started to play and everyone stood to watch Lilly throw flower petals and Mike walk my beautiful soon-to-be wife down the aisle. Alli looked absolutely gorgeous in her wedding dress. She smiled as she walked slowly to meet me.

When she took her place, the organ stopped and the preacher began to speak.

"Dear family and friends, on behalf of Ariella and Victor, we are gathered to celebrate a new beginning. Today two families will become one by God's witness. If anyone here has any objections to the wedding of Ariella Boyde and Victor Fuentes, speak now or forever hold your peace," the preacher said. All was silent.

"If no one has any objections, then let the ceremony commence. I will begin by..." I tuned out the rest of the speech and just looked at Alli. The love of my life was standing before me and we were about to be bound forever.

After some time, the preacher turned to me, and I payed attention again. He asked us to say our vows, so we did. Then he continued with a scripture from Genesis, then it was time for the best part of the wedding. The part where she'd promise to be mine forever, and I'd promise her the same.

He turned to me again. "Since it is your intention to marry, join your hands and declare your consent," he said, and I did as instructed, joining our hands. "Do you, Victor, take Ariella to be your lawfully wedded wife. To have and behold from this day on, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live?" he finished. I smiled widely. "I do," I replied, then he turned to Alli.

"And do you, Ariella, take Victor to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and behold from this day on, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live?" She mirrored my smile, and gripped my hand tightly. "I do," she said.

"Then by the power vested in me by God and the chapel, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride," he said, closing his bible. I leaned forward and Alli and I shared our first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. Fuentes. Everyone cheered and we went to the dining hall downstairs to celebrate.

Notes
