Bite My Tongue.
I looked at him and he smiled oh so brightly.
"Where's my little girl?" He said. I let out a giggle, but still kept my cover. "Alia?" I walk slowly out of my hiding place and walked behind him. "Where's my little star?" I jump into behind him....... He disappears. I was confused. I looked at a mirror that had appeared randomly in the backyard. I walk up to it and see myself. I was covered in dirt, I was crying, my arms bruised from the crawling.. I look behind me and there he was again. I wasn't a little star anymore, I've grown up. I run to him and he diss appears again. I screamed into the particles of dust that were left of the image.
"STOP !" I yelled and grabbed my hair.
I woke up and gasped for air. I quickly at up and catch my breath
"Alia? You okay?" Stephan asked, who probably just woke up.
"yeah... Just a dream." I simply replied. "Just a fucking dream." I repeated. I look around me. I was outside, in front of bus, a blanket over me. The fire has died a little but, but it was still there. Trying to survive.
"what time is it?" I asked Stephan.
"Nine." My eyes widen and I quickly he myself off the ground.
"PENNY! WE HAVE TO GO!" I yelled and shook her a little bit. She mumbled something and opened her eyes.
"wwhhhaaatttt?"
"bitch, it's nine in the morning. We're gonna be late to work if we don't hurry up" her eyes widen, and she gets up.
"shiiiittt." She mumbled and folded the blanket.
The door of the bus slams open, waking up Kitty and Ashley.
"Everybody okay?" I look up and see him standing there.
"We're okay uncle Mike." Stephan said.
"breaks fast anyone?" Uncle Tony said from the back.
"we would love some, buuuuut we have to go." I said and gave the folded blankets and Pillows.
"not even a little toast?" My.. I mean Mike, asked.
"can't stay." I said again. I turn around and gave a hug to each of my "cousins". "We have to meet up again and do this again." I said as I hugged Daniella.
"we do!" Ashley said. "Nice to meet you two."
"Same here" Penny said. "Come On Alia. Say goodbye, and let's go." I nod and went to Tony.
"See you soon?" He asked as he hugged me.
"Probably."
"Alia.. Give him a chance... He's willing to do anything for you."
"Yeah.. Okay. Whatever." I said. "I have to go but here." I gave him my phone number. "I don't want you to give it to him.. At least not yet." He nods.
"Take care Ali."
"Sure will." I hugged my Uncle Vic and Jaime.
"see you soon sweetie?" Mike asked. I shook his hand and he seemed kin I hurt.
"don't know." I said. "I'll think about it." I walked away and catch up to Penny, who was already heading to the car.
For some reason, I felt this loneliness inside me.
maybe it was because I was alone, well. At least blood wise.
Give him a chance... He's willing to do anything.
i kept looking at my phone. Maybe Tony didn't listen to me and gave my number to him. And for some odd reason, I wanted that to happen. I don't know why.
Then it clicked.
He tucked me in last night.
Just like like he did when I was small.
i shook my head. No. He hated me. That's why he left me. He couldn't have possibly tucked me in.
did he?
"Alia, I want these checked and edited by tomorrow." My new boss said. "Okay?"
"sure." I got the stack of papers and checked them out. "Just like grammar wise?"
"if it isn't too much, can you put them in columns? It'll help me a lot. I'll pay you a little extra."
"uh.. Sure. I have nothing to do anyway." She smiles and leaves the little office I had. I opened my laptop once more and started to work on the editing. But I couldn't keep my head straight The argument between me and the man that give me life, kept replaying in my head.. Like a melody. A melody bitter, nothing sweet was found in it.
Ad for a reason.
I want to change that.
"Give him a chance... He's willing to do anything."
