After the brother to brother talk with Vic. I felt like I had hope on building the relationship with my daughter once more. Maybe though just maybe.

"TO US!" Was heard from outside, then cheering and laughter. I went to Vic's bunk, since it had a view outside and opened the curtain just a little bit. All the kids were there.
Alia, Kitty, Penny, Stephan, And Dani.
they were laughing, dancing, picking each other up and running around a small fire they had there. All that were in their faces was Happiness. I'm actually surprised that Dani is just acting normally, and Kitty as well. I sighed and put my head on the wall, and admired the view I had of my daughter. My little star.
Her hands were waving in the air and her mouth was moving, probably singing. She would run around their little spot and then stand on the front table and danced while drinking her soda. She looked so free. Her smiles was so wide, it reminded me of her mother. It scared me on how much they seem alike. Stephan was encouring her to do something.. Who knows what. She kept on shaking her head and laughing. I wanted to be there, being an overprotective dad and making her she didn't do stupid stuff. But why would I be an overprotective dad.. If I wasn't there the whole way?
i closed the curtain and went to the front, were the old men (us) were playing FIFA.
"MIKE! Wanna play?" Jaime asked, but his attention still at the game.
"Nah. I'm fine." I grab a beer and say down to Tony. "You okay Turtle?"
"tired." He replied. "But I'm not sleeping till they go to sleep."
"I get cha. We're all doing that?" I asked. They nod. "I guess I'll join."
"that girl.... She looks familiar." Jaime said. "Why?"
"maybe because that's Alia."
"as in..."
"yup." He paused the game as Tony had spit the water he was drinking.
"WHAT THE HELL?! YOU FREKAING TURTLE!"
"Sorry.. Surprised me." He looks at me. "Seriously?" I nod.
"look guys, I don't want to talk about it.. But long story Hirt, I regret on leaving her there. She hates me, but I'm willing to do ANYTHING, to gain back the love of my little girl."

After a few hours, the noise outside calmed down. Stephan had come inside to retrieve Vic's guitar and went back outside. They were singing and dancing to the song he sang and played. They all sat down in the ground and started to talk, telling stories I guess. We would get on them, to see if they wanted anything, of course they said no.
Teenagers.
A faint guitar sound was still heard, guessing that Stephan was still playing. I look outside and find Alia strumming the guitar softly while the rest were in the grass spot looking and pointing to the sky. I looked at her an we made eye contact, she put down the guitar and laid next to Penny. They held hands and reached to the sky, all of them. kitty stands up and walks in the bus.
"Do we have extra pillows?" I nod and pointed to the back. She smiles and retrieves some pillows before going back outside. I would casually stare at my daughter than at the sky. Maybe Tris was watching her too. I hope she was. I know she probably is.

One by One they fell asleep, even us. I was still awake, and probably the only still awake. I went outside and put a blanket over each one of them. Once I got to Alia, I tucked her in just like I did when she with me. I kneeled down and kissed her cheek.


"Don't make me wait for a falling star, Alia. I will win your love."
