What's So Good About Picking Up The Pieces? (Discontinued)
I see how you look at him..
After the little scene earlier, Mike left after some orange juice and a few episodes of the walking dead, on my laptop, in my room, as I didn't want to be anywhere near the living room..
I'm pretty sure i would have to burn that couch later, but for the time being I would remain in my room until Lidia got back so i could atleast apologise, even though i already knew how she'd react, but it was worth a shot..
I was pried from the hazy state I was in when the front door opened and then slammed shut.
"Tony!" It was my mum.
"Up here, Mum!"
My door opened with a creak and mum poked her head around it.
"Hey honey. Have you seen your sister?"
She came and sat on my bed beside where i was lying and patted my knee a few times.
"Y-yeah.. She.. She went out with a friend." I didn't want to tell my mum the whole story until i got lidia's side..
"Oh. And who would this friend be?" She raised her eyebrows.
"Some guy.. Alex, I think." I stated simply, too tired and confused to make something up.
"Okay... Tony, are you okay?" She said, clearly concerned.
I Thought for a minute. Am I okay?...
"Yeah, mum. I'm fine." I lied, throwing her a small smile.
"Okay, well I'm here if you need me. Don't want you falling back on old ways." She gave me a small smile before getting up.
"You want anything up?"
"No thanks." I smiled and before i knew it, she had shut the door and i could hear her footsteps padding down the stairs.
It was now 11pm, Lidia had stormed out at about 7:30, so I was beginning to get overly worried. I had sent her about 10 texts, and called her numerous times but she didn't answer at all, I may not be able to get the image or Lidia and him.. together.. for a while, but she was still my sister, and i have a right to know if she's safe..
I Picked up my phone once more, just to make sure I had no texts or calls, like that would've changed in the past 3 minutes, and dialled Lidia again. Straight to voice mail..
"Hey! You've reached Lidia! Sorry I couldn't get your call, I'll call back as soon as possible. Bye!"
Her voice rang through the speakers, for what must've been the.. 17th time? I sighed and threw my phone down, not caring where it went..
I rolled over and found myself lying on my phone. How'd it get there?! I moved it away with my hand and shut my eyes, begging sleep to come, which it did.
The front door shut with a slam, succesfully waking up me, and probably mum too.
I Groaned and rolled over, to scan the room for the clock. 3:27 The red electronic letters read. LIDIA!
I hopped out of my nice warm bed, falling over the ball of covers, and landing with a thump on the floor.
I stood up and groaned, brushing myself off, and opened the creaky bedroom door. I winced at how loud it sounded in the silent house and almost ran to the stairs, wiping the sleep from my eyes, and stumbled down the stairs.
"Lidia Perry!" I whisper shouted.
She turned around like a deer in headlights.
"Tony!" She whispered shouted back, sounding angry
"Lid, I'm sorry. I didn't mean what I said." I said, sounding sincere.
"Don't you fucking 'Lid' Me. You called me a fucking slut!"
"It was a heat of the moment thing, I'm sorry Lidia." I Pleaded, emphasis on her name
"That is not fucking good enough." She snarled, walking past me and up the stairs.
"I'm going to have to tell mum." I said softly, almost scared of her reaction.
Lidia stopped where she stood on the 7th stair up and didn't even turn around.
"You wouldn't fucking dare.. Or I.. well I could tell Mike.." She muttered the last part.
Okay, that took me back.
"W-what are you talking about..?" I asked hesitantly.
"I'VE SEEN THE WAY YOU FUCKING LOOK AT HIM!" she screamed, not caring who she woke.
I've really fucked up this time..
