"Ellie?"...

I was literally frozento the floor. I think I stopped breathing for a few seconds. I seriously didn't want to hear that voice ever again, the voice I once adored over 4 years ago. I didn't dare to turn around because I didn't want to see the face I've been trying to forget for 4 years.

"Ellie, is that really you?" The voice said again, I guessed that was my cue to turn around, as I did turned I saw his face, I nearly lost it but I keep myself together. We didn't exactly end well, I felt so awkward..

~~Flashback 4 years ago~~

"Jaime baby, are you home?" I asked as I walk in the front door of mine and Jaime's house. I just found out that I was pregnant with Jaime's baby and I was hoping he was home so I could tell him the good news. There was no answer. I closed the front door and slowly walked into the lounge to find Jaime sitting on the couch looking into space, I don't think he heard me come in.

"Jaime baby, are you okay?" I asked as I walked up to him and rubbed his back. He jumped slightly and looked up to me with puffy, bloodshot eyes. Had he been crying?

"What's wrong babe?"

"I need to talk to you.." That didn't sound good at all. I just sat next to him and looked at him confused.

"I-I can't do this anymore Ellie" Jaime blurted out trying to avoid my gaze at him. I was frozen, I didn't know what to say or do. Should I tell him my news or not?

"What do you mean you can't do this anymore?" I slightly shouted, "Has the 3 years of being together meant nothing to you?" I was upset and angry, how could he just leave me?

"It's not you Ellie it's me, I just don't feel anything anymore and now that the band is getting more popular I won't be around as much and it's won't be good for our relationship" He slightly raised his voice at me. I felt like bursting into tears but I didn't want him to see me cry.

"What am I going to do? Where am I going to go?" All I could think about was the baby I was carrying.

"I'm going to move in with Tony and you can stay here I guess" He said in a softer tone and shrugged. It made me so angry that he was acting like he didn't care at all.

"Have I done anything to make you feel like this? Seriously I'll do anything, just don't leave me!" I was now in tears, I didn't care anymore I couldn't hold back the tears.

"No, no! you've done nothing, it's just how I feel.." He awkwardly rubbed my arm to calm me down but it didn't work...

"I'm sorry Ellie" With that he picked up his bags he had packed before I got here and left me alone.

~~End of flashback~~

Walk away Ellie, just walk away. My head was telling me, but I couldn't. Secretly I wanted to talk to him and see how he was doing.

"Oh um, hey Jaime.." I said quietly.

"Long time no see ay?" He said trying to lighten the mood but it wasn't really working.

"Um yeah it's been awhile" I didn't really know what I say to him.

"So what you doing at the park all by yourself?" As he was trying make conversation with me, I was trying to think of a lie so I didn't have to tell him about Megan. But before I could reply she came running to me.

"Mummy, mummy! I've cut my knee" She cried with tears in her eyes, I carefully picked her up and tried to calm her down.

"Aw hunny, what happened?" I asked.

"I was on the slide and I-I went to fast and fell off it at the end" She was clinging to my shirt and sobbing so much.

"Well, lets get you home and sort you out then!" I said. I looked up at Jaime and he had a confused expression plastered on his face.

"I'm sorry Jaime but I really need to go" I then tried to walk off, but he grabbed my arm stopping me from leaving.

"Wait, you have a kid? Since when?" He look utterly confused but I ignored his questions.

"Look I really can't talk now as you can see, maybe I'll see you another time" Secretly hoping that I wouldn't, and with that I left a confused Jaime alone in the park.

I was walking with a crying Megan in my arms, I was hushing her and trying to calm her down but she wouldn't. I unlocked the car and placed her in her car seat. I rolled up her trousers slightly to inspect the huge bleeding graze on her little knee, the blood had seeped through her trousers, that upset her even more because they were her favourite.

"Hunny, you need to calm down for mummy and when we get home I'll make it all better, just stop crying for me" I said as I stroked her hair to calm her down. After a few minutes she eventually did, I then hopped into the drivers seat and drove home.

10 minutes later

I pulled up in the drive way and got out of the car. I opened her car door and lifted her out of the car.
When we were in the house I walked in the kitchen with Megan still in my arms and placed her gently on the kitchen counter.

"I'm going to get the first aid kit, just stay right there for mummy" She nodded and I quickly went to the bathroom to fetch the first aid kit in the cabinet. I found it and walk back to the kitchen, Megan was sitting still just looking at the floor, she slightly moved her knee and from her facial expression I could see that it hurt.

"This might sting a bit okay?" She nodded and mumbled an okay back. I got a antiseptic wipe and a plaster from the first aid kit and started to wipe the blood from her knee and so it wouldn't get infected. She winced in pain as the cold wipe swiped across her knee.

After I had cleaned it all up and put a plaster on it, her mood was slowly changing and she was smiling slightly.

"Mummy, who was that man that you were talking too earlier?" Megan asked curiously. I genuinely didn't know what to say to her. Obviously I wasn't going to tell her that he was her dad, she just wouldn't understand right now, she's only 4 years old for christ sake.

"Um. He's just an old friend sweetie" Yeah, old friend.. "Come on let's go watch another film like yesterday, how about star wars?" I tried and luckily succeeded by changing the subject.

"Yeah!!" she squealed. I picked her up and placed her on the floor, she then ran to the lounge to get the film. For the rest of the day we both watched films together and I tried to forget about Jaime the whole time but some how he kept coming back into my mind..
