Knock, knock, knock.

I heard the front door. I looked up to the clock.

3:00pm

Shit. I completely forgot about Josh coming round. I quickly glanced down at Megan, she had fallen asleep on my lap. I slowly moved her off of me trying not to wake her up so I could stand up. I got up off of the couch and headed to the front door. I unlocked it and opened the door to see a smiley Josh and to be pulled into a hug.

"Ellie! I've missed you" He said.

"I've missed you too Joshy, come in it's cold outside" He stepped inside and I closed the front door behind him.
He took his shoes off and we both walked into the lounge. Megan was still asleep on the couch so I left her where she was, she's had a busy day. Me and Josh sat on the couch opposite to the one Megan was on and had a nice, long catch up.
Megan was excited to see Josh today but I couldn't wake her, she would probably bite my finger off if I woke her up.
"How busy has that little one been to fall asleep at 3:00?" Josh laughed as he looked over at her.

"We went to the park and she hurt her knee quite badly, she cried a lot" I explained.

"Aw bless her!" He loved Megan like a little sister, he was a great help when I first had her. As she grew up them too became a lot closer. I decided to tell him what happened today, so I could get out what I was feeling.

"You would not believe who I bumped into today!" I said feeling a bit sick.

"Who? is it exciting?" He asked getting excited.

"Jaime fucking Preciado. Oh my god Josh I felt so awkward.. he kind of met Megan but she was crying then I left quickly after, I couldn't tell him. I never wanted to see him again" Jaime needed to know about her but I just couldn't bring myself to tell him, what if he got mad?

"No way!! Well that's unexpected. What happened?" He loves the gossip that boy.

"After that phone call with you, he must have seen me and he came over to talk to me, I didn't want to see him but I couldn't just ignore him, I'm scared I'm going to fall for him all over again.. so I'm trying to stay away" I sighed. I couldn't go through that again.

"Oh Ellie, everything will be okay. You don't need to see him again" After that we just watched tele and had a good catch up. Megan stayed asleep the whole time while Josh was here but I decided that he could stay the night, that would sure cheer her up when she wakes up in the morning.

Jaime's POV

After I saw Ellie and her kid I was so confused. Ellie looked exactly the same as she did 4 years ago, but her kid.. she looked quite old, at least 3 or 4 years old. Wait.. Did she cheat on me during our relationship? Don't be silly Jaime she's not like that. She probably had a child with another man after I left, stop over thinking things.

I walked in my house and saw my girlfriend standing on the top of the stairs.

"Hey baby, where have you been?" She asked. Me and her have been together for over a year now and I'm really happy.

"I just went to the shops to get a few things" As I showed her the bags in my hands. She walked towards me and took one off of me and headed to the kitchen.

"Oh by the way Tony called while you we're gone and said he would come round later" She shouted to me from the kitchen. I moved out of Tonys place after I met Katie, me and her got a place together and have been together ever since. I miss living with Tony, he's my best friend of course I miss living with him, I just miss the male company sometimes.

"Okay, did he say a time?" I walked into the kitchen and placed the bags in the side.

"About 5:30, he can stay for tea" She walked up to me, I put my arms around her waist and looked into her eyes, she put her arms around my neck, she went on her tippy toes and kissed me, I deepened the kiss and it turned into a make out session, we stayed like this for a while till I heard a knock on the door. We pulled away and she sighed. I walked to the door and opened it to see Tony. I pulled him into a bro-hug and invited him in.

After tea all 3 of us sat in the lounge and watched tv until it got quite late.

"Jaime babe, I'm off to bed now, I've got work in the morning" Katie said as she stood up to get off of my lap.

"Okay, I won't be long" She kissed me and went up stairs leaving me and Tony alone to chat.

"Do you remember Ellie, the girl I dated a while ago?" I asked him.

"Yes! Woah I haven't heard her name in awhile I miss that girl to be honest" He slightly smile. While me and her dated, Tony and Ellie were really close, basically like best friends. But when I left her them two lost contact with each other and that kind of upset him.

"I bumped into her today, and she has a kid now.. I couldn't believe it. Though she hasn't changed at all but her daughters adorable"

"Aw I'm glad she's happy! I miss her, I know she your ex-girlfriend and all but I do miss her" He looked kind of sad now but I knew that he was honestly happy for her.

"I know you do man, to be honest I miss her, but we didn't exactly end well did we?" I asked, he knew what I meant.

"Well I'm sure who ever she with now is making her happy" This is what I love about my best friend, he cared so much about other people.

After a while Tony decided to leave, I headed up stairs and got ready for bed. I looked at Katie, she looked so peaceful when she slept. I got under the covers, slowly wrapped my arms around Katie but not to wake her up and so we were both comfortable, then I slowly drifted off to sleep..
