You can't just turn back time

Mike's P.O.V.

It's Friday today. All I have to do is not screw up & I'll have a happy Tony all to myself this weekend. I ran outside to meet Tony at our usual spot.

"TOONNNEEE BOOONNNEEE!!" I yelled. I jumped on Tony like yesterday & again we fell to the floor.

"I don't think I'll ever get tired of this.." Tony mumbled below me. I laughed & started to tickle at his sides. Most guys would think it's gay but we're just really close. Tony was laughing so much he couldn't speak. I finally stopped & got up, holding my hand out to him.

"Dick." Tony spoke, & laughed taking my hand. We walked to school & the Cool Cats called me over again, I looked over at Tony & he just held his head down, trying not to look at me.

"Tony, I'm not leaving....I'm gonna stay here with you." I spoke, putting my arm around his shoulder. He looked up at me & smiled. We walked into the school & immediately someone threw something at him.

"Fuck off, ass!" I yelled. The boy looked at me scared.

"I'm sorry..." The boy spoke. I took Tony away from everyone & we went into some empty classroom.

"Why is everyone such a jerk?" Tony asked, with a frown. I sat down with him in one of the desks.

"I don't know Tone-bone. They're just jealous of how great you are." I replied.

"Mike, don't lie. Seriously, what's wrong with me? Is it my smile? My eyes? My shitty personality? What is it? Just tell me, because I'm tired of wondering what it is." Tony spoke with tear stained eyes.

"Tony, it's none of that! You're amazing! Anyone who can't see that is a dumb ass!" I yelled, feeling a little offended. How could he think that?!

"If I'm so amazing than why don't you like me...." Tony mumbled.

"Tony, of coarse I like you! You're my best friend!" I spoke.

"That's not how I meant it, Mike!"

"How did you mean it?"

"Ugh, just forget it!" Tony yelled & got up leaving me alone. The bell rang & I started walking to my first class. What did I do wrong now? Was it something I said? The Cool Cats caught up to me in the hall.

"Hey, Mike didn't you hear us in the morning? We were calling you." Patrick spoke, putting an arm around me.

"Yea, what were you doing with that fag again?" Alan chimed in, walking beside me.

"Aw, no way! You two are dating!" Jack assumed, walking backwards in front of me.

"No! We'r not! We were just talking...chill, I'm not gay." I responded.

"I think he has a crush on you.." Austin sang.

"Oh just shut up, you guys. He's not gay either." I replied.

"Suuurree." Patrick laughed.

We all headed to class. I sat with Tony but he still looked a little mad.

"Tone, what's wrong? What did I say this time?" I asked.

"Nothing...I just got a little frustrated. I'm sorry." Tony replied. I smiled & felt a lot better now.

It was lunch now & The Cool Cats wanted me to sit with them again. I told them I'd sit with them next week & I ate with Tony. He seemed so happy & he'd been smiling all day. Finally when school was over, we went to my house.

"Hey, Tony! I haven't seen you over here in a while!" My mom cheered when she saw Tony. They talked for a while & we went up to my room.

"So, movie?" I asked Tony with a smirk.

"You know it." Tony replied with a wink. We layed down on my bed & watched inception for like the 15th time. It was one of our favorite movies. After that we went downstairs to eat & then went outside to play Basketball. The whole day had been great & Tony was happy. That's all I wanted.
