You can't just turn back time

Tony's P.O.V.

*Two weeks later*

Today's Mike's birthday! He's throwing a small party & inviting the Cool Cats, which I'm assuming will bring other people along. He's hung out with me everyday & nothing's gone wrong. He only hangs out with the Cool Cat's on Friday's & I'm okay with that. The only bad that's happened this whole month is the fact my parents had something very important to tell me last week. I'm moving. Not just across the street, or another school. I'm moving to New York. Today's my last day & I'm gonna spend it with my best friend on his birthday.

"Hey, Tony put some music on!" Mike yelled from across the room. I put some music on I'm sure everyone would like & then continued to get the snacks. Mike walked over to me, back from the kitchen with two packs of beer.

"Mike, what the fuck! Where'd those come from?!" I yelled.

"I have my way's Tone-bone....The Cool Cats wanted beers, so..I got em..besides mom & dad won' be home till' 9, it's only 4. " Mike responded, setting them down in the coolers.

"Mike, you're not seriously gonna drink are you?!" I yelled.

"Tony! Chill! It'll be fun! loosen up, will ya?!" I sighed & sat on the couch.

About two hours later it was time for people to start showing up. The first to come was of coarse, The Cool Cats. I sort of felt like Mike would instantly ditch me...but whatever.

I heard someone knock & went over to answer the door. Yup. The Cool Cat's.

"Hey, come in, Mike's in the kitchen." I spoke.

"Thanks little gay lookin' boy." Alan spoke. They all walked in & Alan, Austin, & Patrick all went into the kitchen. Jack stayed behind & took a cold beer from the cooler, then sat next to me. I have to admit I felt a little intimidated.

"So, why didn't you go with them?" I asked, trying to make conversation.

"Eh, they've been jerks all day. I've had it with them. I just need some time by myself, ya feel?" Jack responded with a smile. I was shocked. He wasn't cracking jokes, insulting me, or punching me in the face. He was talking to me & smiled. Wow.

"Oh...what did they do?" I asked.

"My old friend Alex came to visit me all the way from Ohio & they wouldn't stop teasing him! He's my best friend..I'm pissed." Jack answered.

"They should really stop being dicks all the damn time. I don't get it, why's it so fun to taunt people?"

"I don't know man...I just go along with it. I'm getting real sick & tired of them. um...sorry about everything though...you're pretty cool."

"T-thanks..."

"So when are you moving, again?" Jack asked.

"Uh, today's my last day, actually..." I replied.

"Oh that sucks. I should have started talking to you sooner." Jack sighed. This is a nice going away gift. An apology from one of my bullies. Mike came back in just when someone else knocked. He opened the door & a swarm of random girls & boys came rushing in that I'd seen around school.

"So where you moving?" Jack asked.

"New York."

"Hey, My cousin lives there!" Jack smiled. "You might see him. Believe me you'll know who it is. His name is Jaime. He's Mexican, real goofy & stuff & his he has the deepest dimples. I'm sure you'll run into him someday."

"Cool, thanks for telling me."

A few hours into the party everyone was getting tipsy, some were already well passed that. Including Mike. I mean he was blasted. I'm glad he was having a good time, I just didn't like the fact that he wasn't with me. He's been with Austin & some girl named Cindy. I'm the only one not drunk besides this guy Oliver who's been watching Sponge bob cartoons on Mike's TV.

I got up & went to find Mike, he wasn't downstairs so I checked upstairs. I found him in his room..but he wasn't alone. He was with Cindy & some random other kids. From what I could tell, they were playing spin the bottle. I saw the bottle land on Mike & Cindy. I don't think I should be jealous but he made no hesitation to kiss her.

"Mike, what the fuck are you doing?!" I yelled. Everyone turned to look at me.

"Tony! Leave me alone, we're in love!" Mike yelled. I know he was drunk but I was infuriated.

"What the fuck are you talking about?! You just met her!"

"What would you know about girls anyway, you dumb ass turtle?!" Mike yelled, getting up from the floor.

"What are you trying to say, Mike?" I spoke softer now.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about! You! Are! GAAAAYYYYYY!" He yelled. Everyone started laughing. Then I noticed one who wasn't, it was Jack.

"Shut up! I'm not gay!"

"Oh yes you are! You KISSED ME!" Mike yelled, raising his fist at me. Next thing I know, I'm on the floor with tears in my eyes.

"Y-you kissed me first.." I spoke. I needed to leave before Mike could hit me again. But something stopped me.

"I was never your friend Turtle! I didn't even like you! You you hold me back from what I want! Get the fuck out, turtle! I don't love you, I love Cindy!" Mike yelled. He ran to Cindy & kissed her again. At this point I was balling.

"Fine...I will...goodbye, Mike.." I spoke as I ran out of the room & out of the house. I sat on the sidewalk to catch my breath from crying, then I heard a familiar voice behind me.

"Tony! I saw what happened! Man that blows!" Jack yelled. He was obviously drunk too. He collapsed onto me so our chests were touching.

"M-Mike's a jerk too! Y'know he's be a Cool Caaaat now? I mean I think she'll be! yes. yes." Jack wasn't making any sense. "You're gay?" He asked. Before I could answer, he interrupted me. "That's pretty cool, mate! I am too." He yelled, in my face. I was stunned. Is he telling the truth?

"I just don tell the guyzzz. Thwey hate gays." Jack smiled straight in my face. He reeked of alcohol. I didn't know what to say. He stayed quiet for a while & then rested his head on mine, still his full body on me like I was a mattress.

"Hey! You wanna give me my first kiss! I do ! Let's go!" Jack suddenly burst out. It kind of scared me but before I could reply, he already had his lips on mine. He held my face in his hands & gave me a sloppy kiss. I kissed back for the joy of it, & wanting him to have a nice one even though he probably wouldn't remember it in the morning. He pulled away & smiled. He was blushing too & filled with giggles. I had to laugh. Jack's about the only guy that's not a total douche bag when he's himself.

"Man, do you have to move?! We can be boyfwends & stuff!"

"Sorry, Jack..I'm leaving tonight at 11 for the airport. It was a nice kiss though..you can find someone better..worth it. Bye Jack." I spoke, getting up. He smiled in his drunk-state & I got up walking to my house. Tonight was supposed to be great. But instead it was shit. The highlight of my day was kissing Jack. Go figure. Mike's a jerk....I'm glad he told me to leave...I am leaving, for good. He finally got rid of me. I'll forever be remembered to him as his one & only 'gay ass ex-bestfriend, who's in love with him.' Great. I love life.

Wow...what a bust....sorry. But I've had everything planned before I made this story & I'm not planning on changing any of it cx the only thing about this story that wasn't planned was the kiss with Mike. But it worked into the story, so aye c;
