The past never changes

"That sounds great mister chef", I said wrapping my arms around his torso,
He turned around kissed me on my lips lightly.

"Eww" Jaime said walking into the kitchen, I pulled away from Vic, I was blushing like a moron. "I made some breakfast for everyone" Vic said handing Jaime a plate of food, "thanks, chef Fuentes" Jaime said sitting at the table.

Mike and Kathy walked in the kitchen looking like zombies, Vic must have thought the same thing because then he said "beth, get away from the zombies" obviously he was referring to the walking dead, I decided to play along, "Darrel!, I can't hold them off"
I yelled backing away from mike and kathy.
Kathy rolled her eyes, "guys, lay off the zombie TV shows, they'll consume your souls"
Kathy said walking towards the fridge.

We all sat down and ate breakfast, as I was taking my dish to the sink my phone rang,
"Hello?" I asked putting away dishes, "yeah, its me, I heard you had plans for today so I decided to stay with your father today" my mom said, "ok mom, bye I love you"
I said, "be careful" she said, I then hung up.

"alright mike jaime and i should get back to the bus, we need to get ready to go home"
Vic said standing up, " I'll pick you up in a couple of hours" he said kissing my cheek,
mike and Jaime stood up and followed Vic to the door.

kathy and I decided it would be appropriate to be lazy and watch some TV while I waited for Vic to pick me up, since I lived in the Santa Barbara area it would be about a three and a half hour drive to San Diego.
