The past never changes

"Vic" I said taking a deep breath, "I can't be with you" I said tears running down my eyes
"Babe why?,what's wrong?" He asked with tears in his eye.
I hate seeing him so sad. Thats the reason I had to do what is was doing, I didn't want him to have to live with me and my fucked up life.
"I hate seeing you like this...and if you continue any further with me it will only hurt you worse" I said crying even more "and I don't want anyone have to go through what I have" I tried to wipe my tears away but it was no use.
"please don't leave me Melony, I love you" he said tears running down his sad face.
God damn it why can't I just learn to leave people alone.
"Vic i love you more than life itself, but I don't want you to have to suffer anymore than I've already let you" I cried.

I couldn't take seeing him like this any longer I had to leave, I started running home I heard Vic yell "Melony please come back", but I couldn't stop he deserves better than me. I'm just a worthless piece of shit that ruined everybody's life.

I got home and ran upstairs, my mom was cooking some dinner so I decided to just let her continue.
I got in my bedroom and slammed my door shut locking.
I ran into my bathroom instantly opening my cabinets searching for my razor blades,
i needed it, I deserved it after what I had to put Vic through, I've never seen him so sad.

I held the blade to my wrist knowing that this was gonna be different from my other scars.
I didn't want anyone else having to worry about me anymore, I always ruin everything,
But this was gonna be the last timeI ever let it happen.
I started to push my blade deep into my skin, letting my vein softly kiss the cold razorblade.
"Don't worry Mel" I said to myself "this will be the last time you have to feel pain"
I sat there watching the blood run down my arm.

I heard a loud bang on my door "Mel!, open the door" Vic yelled,
I heard the door bust open before I passed out falling on the cold bathroom floor.

now I can finally leave everybody alone, no one will have to worry about me and my pitiful little life anymore. It was the only thing left to do.
