The past never changes

Kathy and I get into Vic's newly rented car.

"Hey babe, is everything alright?" He asked me holding on to my hand.

"Vic, we need to talk" I said rubbing his hand knowing what I was gonna tell him would be hard for both of us.

"OK babe, what is it?" He asked getting more worried by the second.

" Its kind of something we need to talk about alone, no offense Kathy" I said looking back to see if Kathy was offended, she shook her head "its OK I understand" she says smiling at me.

"Ok, we will go for a walk when we get to the tour bus" he said starting up the car.

The ride back to the bus wasn't very long.
we pulled up in a park spot next to the bus."I'm gonna go and hang out with the guys" kathy said leaving us to ourselves.

Me and Vic got out of the car and just started walking down the sidewalk not really caring which way we were going.

"What happened at school today Mel" Vic asked holding on to my hand.

"Somebody gave me and Kathy shit and then she pushed me down" I said starting to cry.

"Babe its ok, your with me now and I won't let anybody hurt you" he said kissing me on my forehead making me feel even worse about what I had to do.

"Vic, I love you" I said crying even more

"I love you too Mel"

He leaned in trying to kiss me but I pulled away.

"Vic there's something I need to tell you" I said sitting down on a bench.

He sat down next to me holding onto my hand.

"What is Melony?" He asked frowning again.

I stare at him for a while looking into his eyes fearing that this was probably the last time I would ever get to look at his spectacular brown eyes.
God I wish it didn't have to be like this.

i took a deep breath readying me self for the hardest thing I'd ever have to talk about.
