Ava’s POV-
I opened my eyes to be blinded by the sun that was shining through my bedroom window. I sighed and looked up to Tony whose chest was slowly rising and falling as he slept. Gently, I leaned up and kissed his jawline before getting out of bed. Goose bumps pricked my skin as the cold bedroom air hit my bare legs. I rushed over to my laundry basket and grabbed a pair of shorts to put on with Tony’s shirt that I had slept in. I smiled and stopped at the door to take a moment to capture the beautiful man that was lying in my bed. Contently, I sighed to myself and softly closed my bedroom door leaving Tony to sleep. My feet slapped against the cold hardwood floor as I made my way downstairs to find Jace and my brother cooking breakfast. Jace smiled at me and winked.
“How’d ya sleep A?”
“What’s the wink for?” I asked, grabbing an apple from the fruit basket on the counter. I jumped up on the counter and bounced my legs against the white cabinets beneath me.
“Perry slept over last night,” he rose an eyebrow while my brother shot him a glare from the stove.
“No,” he muttered. “They’re friends.” I nodded, biting into my apple.
“Those nightmares make you scream pretty loud,” he whispered, winking once more.
“Dude! She’s my little sister! They’re not sleeping together!” Gabriel rolled his eyes.
“Yeah Jace. We’re friends. I don’t know what you’re smoking.” He shrugged as I looked out the window at the sun.
“So are you going on tour with the guys?” Gabriel asked glancing back at me. I looked down at my half eaten apple.
“Yeah…”
“Aren’t you excited?” I nodded.
“I told Tony about what happened while he was gone.” It was silent for a minute as what I just said sank in. Jace frowned but kept on cooking with Gabriel.
“Last night?” Gabriel asked.
“Yeah.”
“What did he say?”
“He told me that he’d be there for me and that we could discuss it later today.”
“Was he mad?”
“I was afraid he would be, but he said he wasn’t. But then again, it takes a lot to get him mad, so.” I hopped down from the counter and threw away my apple core. “I’m going out on the porch to do some yoga.” Jace and my brother nodded before going back to making breakfast.

Tony’s POV-
I opened my eyes to Ava’s bedroom ceiling. Her bed was empty and so was the bathroom, so I was alone. I rolled over on my stomach and buried my face in Ava’s pillow, taking in her scent. As I was about to fall asleep, something caught my eye. Ava’s artist notebook sat on her bedside table. The one she never let me look at. I smirked to myself and reached for it. I propped myself up on my elbow and flipped through it. They were all so beautiful. I didn’t understand why she never let me look through it. She wasn’t a bad artist by any means. I stopped and laughed when my eyes landed on one particular drawing. It was a green turtle covered in tattoos. His left hand was making the rock and roll sign, his tongue was hanging out of his mouth and a guitar was strapped to his back. This was too funny. Maybe this was why she didn’t want me to see her sketchbook. I flipped through a couple more pages before I found one more drawing that made me stop and stare. I stopped laughing and looked down at the characters she’d drawn on the page. Her and I sat on the couch, her legs over my legs, her head on my shoulder, me kissing her forehead. One of her arms was around my neck and the other was wrapped around my waist. At the bottom of the page in her handwriting, it said ‘My favorite place to be is in your arms.’ I smiled and stared at the drawing for a while before closing her sketchbook and placing it back onto the table. I figured I should get up sometime before I got too lazy and ended up falling asleep again. I stood up, remembering that Ava was wearing my shirt. Oh well, who needs a shirt anyways?

Sorry for the short chapter and late update. Its been a long ass weekend and I have major writers block. Hopefully I'll have another chapter up in a day or two <3
