I could hear noise and some curse words outside coming from the balcony. I walked up there to check what was going on out there.

"Kellin? How did you--" I quickly rushed to the awkward boy struggling to climb up the balcony.

"brought a ladder, dont even ask." he interrupted letting out a deep breath when I pulled him up.

"climbing through your room got me all worked up." he said as he dusted himself up. I noticed he had a guitar strapped to his back. Kellin’s acting all weird today, wonder what got into him.

"we actually have a front door you know."

"yeah but I wanted to surprise yo-- what the fuck are you wearing?!!" obviously I was the one who took him by surprise as he looked me up and down with wide eyes. I was only wearing a towel wrapped around my mid-section.

"uhmm I just got out of the shower, I didnt know you were coming" I tried to hide the reddening of my cheeks out of embarrassment.

"ok uhmm.. Im sorry?" he said looking away awkwardly.

"its ok. Soo, what brings you here?"

"uhhmm remember that time when I ask you to teach me how to play?, I mean no, of course you dont that’s why I’m here but-"

"uhmmm Yes." I cut his little rambling, remembering the dream that I had a few days ago; but Im not sure because it was just a dream...

"really?" he looked at me with those big blue-green eyes of his.

"I mean, No." he looked at me confuse.

"Uhmm Kind of?" he nodded and I could see a slight smile forming in his lips.

"Well that's good. Anyway, I ask you to teach me because I wanted to play you something back then" he said.

"yeah?" I’m pretty sure the evident smile on my face is practically mirroring his, because damn he’s gonna play me a song, I always wondered what his voice would sound like when singing, only because his voice sounds so angelic especially when he says my name but he doesn't need to know that so lets just keep it our little secret shall we?.. Good.

"and Im gonna play that something now, is that cool?" he said awkwardly.. He’s a little nervous I could tell, he couldnt even look at me.. well maybe because of the fact that Im just wearing a towel but still.

"yeah sure, sure ... Uhmm lets go inside just let me get dress." well this couldnt get anymore awkward than it is. He nodded and we made our way inside. He took a seat in the bed. I headed straight to the closet to pick out some clothes. I could practically feel his hot stare on my back so I turn around to prove that my assumption is in fact correct.

"dont look"

"not looking" he raise his hands up in surrender.

"go dress in the bathroom you’re making me want to..... Uncomfortable" he said chucking a pillow at me. I chuckled a bit, slightly amused to have had an effect on him.

"just hurry up." he turned to the other side. I went inside the bathroom and did my business in there; opening the door as soon as I was finish.

"Okay. Im done." I said. He was just there playing random tunes and humming to himself. He looked up at me and smiled.

"good. Now come sit with me." he patted the space next to him for me to sit in. I did what he said and he took a deep breath and looked at me nervously.

"ok.. Uhmm I dont know how to.. Uhmm Im just gonna... play now." I nodded and he started strumming and I listened to the beautiful rhythm.

I just sat still, completely unmoving, too awestruck to form any words; he was good, no he’s better than good he was WOW, and again he flashed me those sweet smile of his which brought me back to my senses

"wow. Uhmm I dont know what to say you were amazing. You completely blew me away." I admitted.

"Thanks." he blushed.

"Who sang it?"

"I did."

"ofcourse you did. I meant the real one though?"

"uhmm.. Its an.. Original.. I- uhmm.. I wrote it for you.." he said shyly. Aww. He wrote me a song? I smiled but felt down cause damn it! Why cant I remember this kinds of things?

"oh and uhmm this is your guitar by the way, cause I dont own one and you left it at ou- my apartment back in Michigan. I dont know why I brought it with me.." he looked down somewhat frowning..

"ohh.. Uhmm you could keep it if you want." I suggested.

"what? Why?" he look up at me and gave me a look like I said something crazy.

"it seems like I’ve forgotten how to play" I frowned, looking down at the floor

"What? Noo. But you played me that song"

"yeah but I dont know, I tried playing other stuffs too but it seems like its the only thing I know how to play anymore." I said. He placed his hand in the small of my back rubbing small circles to try and comfort me.

"I cant even read tabs." I sighed looking somewhat defeated.

"well, let me teach you." he said beaming at me.

"ok?" I said more like asked.

"yeah, It’ll be fun. C’mon" I nodded, and thats what we did the whole time, him teaching me how to play. Four hours has passed and we didnt even realize it; We were
enjoying each other’s company too much, to even care.

"hmm?" he looked up from the guitar to face me.

"why did you sang me the song? I mean, why now?" I said curiosity evident in my tone.

"because I wanted to remind you of what you've forgotten." he smiled, I nodded.

"What is it?"

"I dont know, what did you feel when I sang to you?"

Butterflies. Everywhere.
"uhmm. I cant explain."

"that’s okay. anyway, I uhmm I have to go.. Uhmm can you meet me at the park tonight at six?" he said looking down at his watch.

"Okay.. Uhmm.. Thanks for the song?" he nodded in acknowledgement and went out through the door. I sat still raking my brain of what could possibly be so important that he needed to remind me.
