Fast Times at Clairemont High

Hi, my name is Azalea Mitchels. I am a 16 year old girl, and I go to school at Clairemont High. I just moved to San Diego, and I love it here. Many people don’t know me, but I have a very good friend named Lyric. We are already inseparable. She helps me with all of my problems.

My mother and father are always fighting, and I always have to comfort my little sister, Audrey. It’s the reason we moved. My mother was cheating on my father. My father took action and decided to make us move, and cut off any communication with my mother’s secret lover. He wanted to stay with her so he didn’t ruin our family, but he just made it worse.

My mother and father fight so loudly that they never hear me even leave the house. I normally sneak out to get away from all the yelling. I normally stay out till eleven, staying at a near park since the neighborhood is new to me.

I normally have a pencil and paper in my pocket, writing songs when I get to the park. It helps me relieve my stress. I sing them sometimes in the dead of night, when no one is around. I eventually throw them all away, so my parents don’t see them.

I am Azalea Mitchels, and this is my life.
