Fast Times at Clairemont High

Pleased to meet you!
My name is Lyric Winters. I'm 16 years old and a Sophomore at Clairemont High School. I met my best friend Azalea about a week ago. She moved to a house pretty close to mine. We managed to tell each other almost everything about one another in the short time that we have known each other.

My mother and my father divorced when I was 10. The fighting got so bad my father thought it would be best to separate for me. I went to live with my dad on the other side of town and I tried to make ever excuse in the book as to why I couldn't visit my mother on the weekends. My father died a year ago and I was forced to move in with my mother. My mom and I don't get along at all. She is always yelling at me for something stupid, she has hit me a couple times but I mean I probably deserve it.

One thing you will never see me without ever is my guitar. I don't leave home without it, it's like my security blanket. I used my calloused fingers to escape my personal hell. School is another story, I am constantly bullied by most everyone except for a couple of my friends. Mike and his brother Vic, Tony and Jaime. I met them when I came to this school a while back, they mean everything to me.

I am sure that the guys will love Azalea. She has a great personality and I can tell she has a good heart by the way that she talks about her sister Audrey. Azalea and I hangout almost everyday that we can. I haven't introduced her to the guys yet because they have been a bit busy with some family things, but I have told her about them.
