the fear in my heart is enough to make me cold

(Jaime's POV)

I couldn't understand how they could sit here and listen to her cry like this. I looked around and everyone looked blank, like they couldn't think of a single thing to do. A few minutes had passed and I couldn't take it anymore, I had to go and talk to her. I stood up and knocked on the bathroom door not caring about the puzzled look all the guys were giving me. It took some convincing but she finally let me in.

"Hey, what's going on? What's got you feeling so down?" I asked lifting up her chin so she could look at me
"What, besides from the fact that everyone hates me and I've already managed to fuck up everyone's first night nothing much"
"What are you talking about we don't hate you, not one bit. And you definitely didn't mess up anyone's night, we just want you to be okay, you know that don't you?"
"Whatever, i don't deserve anyone's help anyway" she said in the softest voice, barely even audible
It broke my heart to hear her say that, to know that she feels that way
"Hey, you listen to me, you are so worth it okay? Why do you think Mike and Vic flipped out like that? It wasn't because they were mad at you it was because they hate the fact that you're doing this to yourself, god, why can't you just see that you're beautiful."
With tears welling up in her eyes she looked at me with the saddest eyes i have ever seen and said "Because I'm not." and with that she walked out the bathroom and went to her bed. All I could do was sit back on the couch and sigh.

(Liv's POV)
I know Jaime was trying to help but my mind just wasn't letting me hear it. I walked out the bathroom and went into my bunk so I could text my best friend, Aiden.

Liv: Aiden bby I miss you!

Aiden: Liv you gorgeous mermaid how are you doing?

Liv: Aiden.....they know, well they're starting to know. Mike lost his shit and called me out on not eating but I swear I was! Everyone except Tony has been just bombarding me all night and I don't know if I can do this for 2 months. I think I want to come home.

Aiden: Are you sure you were actually eating Liv? You know you don't have to lie to me. And you can't come home, for the past few months you've been cooked up inside your house and this is all you've been talking about for the past few weeks. Now, I know it's not going to be easy but you can't let this fuck up your summer, Try to have fun for me? Please?

Liv: Well....I mean....I was picking I guess. But I'm just gonna mess up everyone's summer It's only the first night and already the guys have spent it worried about me. This is supposed to be their time, i can't mess it up for them.

Aiden: And you're not going to! Trust me, you being there is making their summer worthwhile even if you don't think so. You know I'm always here for you right? No matter how early or late it is if you ever need me call or text me, I'll always be there. I love you mermaid

Liv: Thanks Aiden, I love you too bby :) I'll text you tomorrow okay? I'm gonna get some sleep

Aiden: Alrighty, Nanite :)

Aiden was right, I can't leave them. I'll wait a couple more weeks and if things are still bad then I'll go home. I get to see Aiden in a few weeks at the San Diego date anyway.
