Chapter 5

(LIV'S POV)

I take hold of Austins arm and we make our way back to his bus, i have to admit, i was a tad bit embarrassed at the fact that he heard my singing. I've never sang in front of anyone before, not even my brothers.

We arrived at the bus and i could feel the music pumping through my chest, kind of like the feeling you get when you're at a concert
"Hey, Austin!" i heard a voice call out "Who's this tiny little thing?" i looked up discovering that the voice was coming from Alan " i am NOT short" i shot back, maybe sounding meaner than i had intended. "oooh, she's a little feisty one now isn't she" Tino said laughing.

I could smell the stench of whiskey and tequila, it was actually quite overpowering, but it's nothing I'm not used to. the three of us made our way into the back lounge where the rest of the guys were hanging out along with Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, You Me at Six, and Mayday Parade. They were all laughing, playing beer pong, and being overall rowdy. I started to tense up and I think Austin noticed because he looked over to give me a reassuring look before introducing me to the rest of the guys "guys, gUYS, GUYS!" Austin shouted "This is Liv, she's Vic and Mikes little sister and she's gonna chill with us for a while so behave yourselves!". They all said hello and continued on with their drunken activities. I looked over and noticed that Patrick wasn't drinking but instead he looked kind of flustered, almost in a daze, it was like he had been forgotten about in the midst of all the commotion so I went over and talked to him.
"Hey Patrick, I'm Liv" i said with my voice quite small so that i didn't scare him. "Oh, hi Ivy, and how are you on this lovely evening?" my god his eyes are beautiful "I'm great, and yourself?" "Ah i can't complain" he replied with the biggest smile I've ever seen. We just sat and talked for a little bit, it wasn't awkward or anything, it was casual, like we had known each other forever and we were old friends catching up.

(PATRICK'S POV)

I was sitting in the corner in the lounge of the OM&M bus not really engaged in the drunken beer pong and charades when I heard a sweet, calm voice introducing herself, she said her name was Ivy. Her eyes were an electric green and her hair was a medium pastel purple. She was so tiny (obviously getting that from Vic) and very petite. In fact, she was unusually small....but her eyes were just so goddamn beautiful, by the time i realized I was staring i guess she had too because she was waving her hands in front of my face. "Hellllllooooo, earth to Patrick?" "oh yeah, sorry blanked out for a second, what were you asking?" "could you walk me to the barbeque so I can find my brothers? they said i should meet them there at 8" she said twiddling her thumbs, "Of course i can" and off we walked to catering.
