A Match Into Water

"Vic I'm scared" I looking into his eyes that was filled with worry.

"Darling everything is going to be okay" Vic press's him lips against mine.

After a few minuets of anxious waiting the nurse and concultant to return.

They came through the door and the concultant did an internal examination which was extreamly inconfortable.

She finished then did another ultra sound scan.

I didn't hear the thumping like before.

My heart began to race.

"I'm regret to inform you that you've had a miscarriage and have lost the baby, I'm sorry for your loss"

Thd words exited her mouth but didn't seem to sink in.

"I've had a miscarriage?" I was so confused.

"Yes, either the force you took when you was attacked or the tests and X-rays caused damage to the baby, the pain you are in is due to you having contractions which causes the cervix to dialate and open up and you giving birth prematurely which results in bleeding....it should wear off in a couple of days" Her eyes were filled with sympathy.

I began to cry as Vic pulled me to his side comforting me.

I have lost my baby....I have lost my baby!!

Oh my god.

Ive never felt pain like this before.

The pain of losing your child it compares to nothing else.

The concultant did a final examination to make sure all of the fetus and plecenta was removed.

Afterwards I was free to return home.

This world is so cruel.

I returned home to get another ear full from my mother on how useless and pathetic I was, great just what I needed.

I laid on my bed and burst into tears looking at my ultra sound photo remembering what I once had.

Its just me and Vic now.

So Alisha lost the baby...

I cried all the way through these chapters about being pregnant because it just hurts so much, I'm glad I have my Glen to help me feel better again though...I love you!

So is Alisha going to be able to cope? How is Vic? He's been so reserved lately....
